So I’ve tried everything here and nothing quite worked. When I tried to open the game it would say running in steam then nothing happens. My main issue was that it never showed me an error/crash code. I found a subreddit for the same issue where it said to check the “bootstrapper” text file and to find “randgrid.sys” saying it is failing to launch. Anyway “bootstrapper” had said that every launch was successful so this wasn’t the issue either. The fix I came across was reinstalling both the game and steam onto the same drive. I don’t think it matters what drive, (I chose my hard drive) just as long as they are on the same one. I would recommend trying this last, I’m not sure if this is worth all the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling every other game you have. Hope this helps 🫡

Had an issue with the game not starting for over 20 Min, than running with some laggs, just realized that the game wanted to start in VR. Had a simular issue with Phasmophobia! Had to go to Coral Island Folder and search for "openxr_loader.dll" delete it. wont start VR anymore and game will run smooth

Disconnect bluetooth earphones before start the launcher, after start the launcher and the game, reconect your earphone. Simple that. Works here.

just for help, if u using windows 10 or 11, try checkout ur dx version, (windows + r, and type "dxdiag") im currently using dx12, and the lauch option I use "-d3dx12" , works for me. thx
