I’ve just come across you whilst knitting on the MKAL shawl ! But I wish I had found you earlier as I probably would have made a different shawl of Stephen’s . I’ve only joined in twice before but completed the shawls months later😂 Great fun though . Love your striped jumper it’s beautiful 🍂

I don’t know that I would say I have a vivid imagination, but I have recently been struggling to recover from reading some books with heavy subject matter, like death of family members, or a protagonist experiencing severe postpartum depression. I am in need of some light and silly summer reads to lift my spirits.

I don't think I've ever achieved row gauge in crochet- it is common not to. Make sure your stitch gauge is close, then add/subtract rows to get the height you need. The new tunic is super cute!

You might want to knit a wider neckband to bring that up higher on your shoulders. I wonder if the iCord tie would actually fix the problem, I am doubtful on that idea. Another possible fix would be to run an elastic through the neckband ribbing, which might hold it into place a little better.

You were right, we all were yelling Eye of Partridge at the screen. 😂 I love your double take tee. I think that will be my next summer top. I've been knitting summer tops so far this year. I finished the Cercis in a linen blend, but it's so warm I haven't been able to stand it. Plus it's on the scratchy side. Maybe I'll wear it to work and be in the air conditioned building. I'm almost done with my peek a boo tee. I'm almost done knitting the back and then I can seam it. Another great episode! Oh, I had a thought. You said you were looking for ways to get back in with the universe. What if you did some episodes where you do some of the mindful practices? I miss those from the beginning of the channel.

The Noro is really pretty! Here me out here.....two Double Take tees with the mermaid hair and two very different contrast colors for the opposite sides. That sounds fun 😊 I would hold on the colordul shawl until Westknits MKAL. (Says the person who still has to finish Twists and Turns 😂).

By the way it's a bit funny but also sad. In ladakh they get rid of yaks to have more pashmina goats. As they think yak wool is useless. While the yaks are much better for the environment

Pink sweater looks fabulous! I have also been experiencing size fluctuation over the last few years and am struggling to choose sizes. I’ve been reluctant to knit anything that is intended to be closely fitted, and instead choosing designs with more positive ease. The Disney inspired yarns are so pretty, and I’m always impressed by Sewrella’s packaging.

Sorry to hear you've been going through a rough time. When you feel like knitting, I hope your knits can bring you some comfort but if you don't feel like it, I hope you can find something that gives you a bit of a pick me up, even if it's just enjoying a nice cup of hot tea.
