Custom doors
Просмотров 219Месяц назад
Just finished a kitchen for a client. So she decided to have these really weird odd shapes open for doors and sizes. Couldn’t understand why she don’t go standard square doors. But she wants it to be special to her weird taste. Lol

Art is an imaginary world. Passion is to craft it into reality. I want to explain the depth and detail of designing and completion of cabinets. Most clients don’t understand how crucial a specs of appliance or detail of layout can affect the construction or building of a custom cabinet, so I like to make this little video and explain. Custom cabinets drawing are completely different from prefab...

    I am super impressed! I also prefer the pre-glued edgebanding as opposed to a glue-pot or glue pellets, so this seems like the perfect idea! Well done!

    That's pretty slick. But it looks like you can only run the banding with the glue already applied. I imagine building the glue applicator would be a difficult project too. Great job!

      Half true. Depending what country you purchase from. Look it up. There originally HQ is in the state of Wisconsin moved to new facility in Milwaukee 212.000 sqft facility. Their world marketing is in Asia honk Kong TTI. Ryobi and a few other brands are from them. Even tho it’s sold to TTI in Hong Kong. They are still manufacturing Milwaukee in America and 4-5 other countries. To branch out worldwide. TTI base out of Asia. Their CEO use to be one of the top guy work for Dewalt

      @@kaden7298 Im sorry, but you need to look it up. Milwaukee is owned by TTI, which is a Hong Kong company. Chat GPT= Milwaukee Track Saws sold at Home Depot are typically manufactured in either the United States or China. Milwaukee Tool, the company behind the Milwaukee brand, has manufacturing facilities in both countries. The specific location of production can vary depending on factors such as cost, efficiency, and supply chain considerations. For precise information about the origin of a particular product, you may need to check the labeling or contact Milwaukee Tool directly.

      It’s still running great. But if share circuits same with the vacuum. The vacuum will have issues not the sander. And think I’ve figured out why. I’ll make another video about it soon. Vacuum pull a lot of electric especially when the filter is pack up. The sander run on brushless motor. It needs a constant power supply. By splitting between both vacuum and sanding. One will lose the constant power flow. Causing motor issues on vacuum. So now I run a straight home run for only sanders. No more issues

    I have also been using my Maxxt professionally for several months. None of the problems described in other reviews occurred. I paid 150 Swiss francs (170 USD), a Festool would cost over three times as much. Until further notice, an excellent product.

    • @sccwoodwork6655
      @sccwoodwork6655 9 месяцев назад

      I think they hook it right into the vacuum itself. Some vacuum design has a built in outlet. This can affect the sanders because the vacuum machine itself can give out insufficient current. This can cause sanders to have issues.

    Plane those out. Attempting to sand that big a burn pushes the burn into the grain. Sharpen the freakin blade. Use a proper safety rip blade, 10/12 teeth.

    • @kaden7298
      @kaden7298 9 месяцев назад

      Planning out just more work. Just use a proper blade 10/12 teeth is correct. But depending on what you cutting. Even if blade is 10/12 you will get burnt saw marks when your cuts pinch mostly on long cuts. The only way to prevent it is the fence, and blade alignment is correct. And clean blades. Most importantly that rising knife act as a shim prevents wood from pinching. Also if your rising knife is correct thickness to blade. You don’t need to clean blades as often and last longer. He is correct about the rising knife and blade thickness. I’ve seen a lot of guys using thin blades on table saw horrible idea

      Bro are u kidding me? Planing on a cabin door stock? Lol😂. Do you know how long that will take? Also higher chance damage on bunch of doors! What he saying is correct 100%. That rising knife is very important. No true cabinet builder will plane cabinets doors. You risk changing the size and damage door.

      @tearsofink6674 I'm not saying to plane the doors. The point I am making, sanding burn marks only pushes the burn into the wood. Planing removes the burn. Prep the material properly before constructing the project. There is little to no sanding once everything is assembled.

    • @tearsofink6674
      @tearsofink6674 9 месяцев назад

      @@francoisbouvier7861 you said plan those saw marks out. That would absolutely damage the door and cause it to be uneven more. if you watch his entire video. That is what he is saying. He is showing how to cut the doors stock without having to sand those burnt saw marks by doing right 1st time. That rising knife and correct blade thickness is the key.
