@@Barter_Engineering Absolute Legend, The VR6 Lump is One of my favourite engines.i had a MK2 Golf VR6 done a vr6 Conversion. but the o2j gearbox wasnt strong enough. I done the gearbox twice, I ended up selling it. But the engine was solid and one of the best sounding engines I've had. Your have Great Fun in the TI VR6 Skid Machine 😁

Also, maybe worth moving the turbo further forwards, allowing the downpipe to route down the passenger side under the inlet? Similar to some k20 swaps? I'm brainstorming tonight haha

Where the turbo is currently mounted is going to give us a straight shot to a 90° for the downpipe, it'll be mint 👌😂

Never heard of these weld on tabs, nice idea but it's too late now I can't be arsed to tear it down and re design it. Just modify things to fit and it'll be sweet 👌😂

@@Barter_Engineering haha fair enough, those tabs mentioned are basically just flat pieces of steel that move the rubber mount to the front of the subframe instead of the rear. They look like they wouldn't last 5 minutes but quite a few folk use them now so they must be ok. fair shout on the turbo location, eager to see how you progress!

We shall see! It's reinforced in the usual places and now has a 6mm plate through the middle of it. Still looking at putting another plate on the underside of it aswell 🤟

I've got templates for baffles I just haven't got round to cutting and welding then in just yet. Sump currently holds around 7l so I'm not sure wings will be necessary but it shouldn't be too hard to add them on if needed. Current sump bung has been welded up and I'm looking to move it back about 3" Thanks dude 🤟

@@Barter_Engineering awesome! I sort of assumed I would probably be teaching you to suck eggs but I'm from an sr20det background, and dabbled with the b204 rwd platform too, so picked up a lot of experience which I thought might help
