Thanks for this, haven't painted minis in 20 years, I also have only used GW/Citadel paints back in the day with the flip lid. So this is new territory with Vallejo/army painter and appreciate this video. Sometimes the basics bar some people from trying anything new and these videos do give us the satisfaction of some easy steps that help give us the confidence we are doing something right. LOL

Thank you so much! I have a bottle of Vallejo mecha color gold where the pigment on the bottom just would not want to mix nicely no matter how much I shook it. Whatever came out separated into bits of gold and a silvery sludge. Must've been sitting on the store shelves for a while. Now I can get some balls in there and mix it up fully.

Great video! I’ve seen a fair number of negative “reviews” of this product, mostly based on it’s consistency. Following the instructions on the bottle and adding a few drops of water at a time and stirring well makes a HUGE difference! I added a marble to the bottle as an agitator to make shaking the bottle more effective. I have been building models for 40 years, and I have no idea why the paint comes this way and needs to be “prepped” to work right, but once done properly It is one of the best glow-in-the-dark paints out there. A classic!

Fantastic video. Becasue I have... experiences. The Citadel one is utter garbago. Why? Well, the glue get stuck cant get out through the nozzle even after neddling the hole. The Army painter one did not come with the thin extender nozzle thingymajingy. Im about to order and try out Green Stuff worlds Skullglue ( looks awesome and have a small brush attached ) and Tamiya cement and extra thin cement. Have some Nolzur frameworks to put together which is on hefty sale. Like otherwishe they cost 17 dollarinos or ca 170 norwegian kroner but now down at 5 dollars or ca 50 kroner

A great shop! I come here everytime I travel to see my partner in Brid. I've bought some nice transformers things from here.

Looks like it's worth a visit. However, visiting them on a regular basis is best avoided, similar to what we found when going to Legoland etc it gets repetitive and nothing new to see. My only reservation is putting money into the pockets of a company that has destroyed so many ips in recent years.

using a grey base is not the best in my opinion. I prefer softer tones (wraithbone can if you enjoy Citadel Spray, or a special mix I make off my Vallejo Primers) or white as the very last option.

How do u keep the paint from chipping g away after uses? I don’t use anything but have notice a lot of missing paint.
