I liked the format that you used for the last video but Little Miss calling Nathan out on fudging a dice roll was comedy gold. That would have been missed if it was narrated. I like this one 😃
Haha yeah she wasn’t happy haha So this format going forward?
@@MightyLancerGames definitely 😃
@tonyhowell201 haha I will have to have patience then as this took forever 😂🤣😂
Ahah this was absolutely awesome! Really liked to get a bit more in depth than just looking at a picture on a screen. And this is the thing i love the most about minis: they don’t always fit a story, sometimes they create one! Thank you! More more more
That is so very kind, thank you. I am very glad you like it 😁
Fab video, its great seeing all the games being played with some awesome scenery there
Thank you, lots of scenery to choose from for gaming at Mighty Lancer Games for sure 😁
There's definitely a good reason why they win awards year after year after year
We really like them they are wonderful sculpts
loved this and would like to see more, coming from a mostly GW background im enjoying discovering different companies
Thank you. It’s great to hear that you would like to see more 😁
I liked that. Plenty of minis that I didn't know about and some old favourites that I did. I like the story ideas to assist a DM that's new to the hobby, too. Very cool and some fun story ideas 😃
Thank you. Do you think it is a video series you would like to see more of?
@MightyLancerGames definitely. If it's helping to open the eyes who've come in to the hobby from a GW perspective, then it's a positive thing to broaden their horizons. I can't speak for all but I'd definitely watch more as there were a few minis that I really liked and was unaware of. And coming from an RPG background, I saw a couple that got my imagination going 😃
Awesome, thank you. I think next time it maybe slightly longer and i will not rush as much haha
Fun to see a few I’ve painted and a few I’ve not! Really enjoyed this one :)
Thank you. Would this be a video series you would like to see more of?
@@MightyLancerGames Indeed!
Fantastic. Thank you. Maybe slightly longer next time 😀
Mini of the Week is back !!!
Haha only a few days ish late this time 😁
Super cool painting Little Miss 😎
we are very biased but we think she did amazing haha
That is insanely huge! It's like you might as well just put a toddler on the table and say it's the giant!
Haha he is a big boy
Fantastic showcase as usual! thank you for putting the video together!!
Love them all. Thank you for joining in and bringing your awesome miniatures to the Great MLG Brush Off
Fantastic entries as always 😍
Fantastic aint they. I am grumpy at my total lack of magic puns though
Such an amazing range of well painted miniatures for the Magic theme this month. !!!
I love them all, I am also disappointed in myself for not being able to think of any magic related puns haha
I demand a recount!!! No Terrys Pyramint?? Terrys Moment? Cadburys Taz bar, Snowflake, Spira, Nuts about Caramel, Astros, Dream, Marble and the strawberry fondant choc from the roses that they made a bar out of in the 80s but cant remember the name
Can’t remember the fondent one
@@MightyLancerGames youtube is tripping on me. This was a comment on a different video, clearly.. sorry!
@@MightyLancerGames was watching your vid for inspiration on painting my heroquest skeleton warriors. Very good vid btw👍🏻
I did wonder haha
Thank you
Have you tried using a craft knife, not a boxcutter?
Mr MLG used a craft knife, it’s not so much the getting it off the piece as much as the wading through the sheets to find the correct piece and the bad fit once you had
First nice video
? You may have to elaborate on that one 😂
Thanks for the review! Mr Mangel isn't a direct homage to any particular TV or film character - he came from my folk horror supplement Children of the Fields. He does have a touch of the original Worzel Gummidge to him, I will admit :)
😂 well they are awesome, we love them
Honestly refreshing to see someone having a bit of a strop and not just breezing through like it's the easiest thing in the world !
Haha. We are always honest with our reviews and an absolute strop was certainly had 😂
Think I'm gonna have to crack on with some of these soon! *bandages wallet*
HaHa, you really should, they are certainly a Mr MLG favourite

These days, there is no excuse for poor instructions. There is NO excuse for not printing instructions, either. If they want to have web content, show someone building it WHILE explaining which pieces they are using. Lastly, number the f-ing pieces! Thank you for the warning about this company's terrible products! Imagine, if you and a bunch of friends decided to build a bunch of terrain together, and everyone had to scramble for pieces while trying to watch unclear videos. Pathetic...
It is frustrating. I have been told they are improving and the brand new kits are better so fingers crossed that is true
So Is It possible wizards of the coast print more of these with different manufacturer?
Wish I lived closer looks like a great space and great shop! I’ve been a miniature maker for a few years now sculpting and making all my own stuff, terrain and figures I’ll check out your website
😃
Yeah I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't damage it pulling that out.
Hopefully the video helps. Happy hobbying 😁
@@MightyLancerGames It does! I was pretty sure just pull or twist but yeah had to make darn sure lol. Spent too much on paint to risk damaging something. Measure twice, cut once.
Absolutely. Also a phrase we use often 😁
Me and my friend really enjoyed it, however they really need another hall as Saturday was too much…. Thoroughly recommend staying the night and taking a more chilled approach. To the people with large rack sacks….”grrrr”😅
hahe get the rucksack comment, had a few rucksacks in the face. We only went on Friday which is supposed to be the quieter day, I do not think we could have coped as a family doing the whole weekend haha
Agree I’d like to take my 2 but 1) we walked 10 miles Friday!! and 2) its just too congested , especially Saturday, that i’d constantly be worried! The rucksacks don’t bother me but my buddy is very short so can’t see anything as it is, then gets whacked in the face trying to see through gaps (which if i’m honest, cracks me up 😂)
Haha indeed, i too would chorckle at a rucksack in a friends face, thats what friends do 😂
@@MightyLancerGames 😂
I used to come for pokemon club
We still have Pokemon club 😁
Would've been nice to see at least one of the bases dry naturally without using the hairdryer.
We also have this video which show how crackle paint cracks differently with and without PVA & a hairdryer. Hope that helps ruclips.net/video/FaN0uB4JD2I/видео.htmlsi=m9h5FmrHS6HM9TfK
Highlight of show, playing Spots with the MLG family...thank you for playing.
Absolute superstar of a teacher, thank you for being so patient with us, hope you have an awesome rest of the show and get to look round😁
This was so cool seeing all the vendor product that you carry, all painted up pretty and in display cases! Hope you had a lot of fun!
Mrs MLG hadn’t realised just how many Moonstone minis she had painted until she started pointing them out in the cabinet 😂
I bet Lan Livinstone could not believe his luck meeting Mr MLG !!!
😂🤣😂🤣
The harbour table looked awesome what was that for?
Indeed it was. Moonstone, thats the table we had our demo game on (Mr MLG lost 😂)
@@MightyLancerGames Moonstone makes such cool minis!
They really do
If a piece won't come out because it hasn't cut all the way through, cutting it from the back is way, way easier than from the front. Thanks for this video - several pointers and good advice for when I start making puzzle box kits. 15:01 when all else fails, brute force and ignorance are bound to work ;)
Haha brute force is never recommended but sometimes the only choice 😂
I understand your frustration. i thought it was just me.
I am glad I am not alone
What a faff. 😂 I would have stopped at opening the box 😂😂
😂 should have been a hint, if only I would have known 🤣
Thanks for this, this was educational for me. I own a laser and have considered giving my own buildings a go. This just reminds me how much I dislike working with the laser and really would rather just 3D print or craft.
Haha well at least it was useful
doing a great job there guys. I'm due a visit to Brid very soon. I'll see you then :)
Excellent. Keep an eye on the website event page for any events when you are visiting 😁
Nice gaming spaces! 👍
Thank you
The bestest room.
Haha it is always happy to see you
Looks excellent!
Obviously looks better full of gamers but not everyone likes to be on film 😂
I always wanted a Porsche 911 sadly does not seem like it is going to happen even a remote one would be pointless I have no place to use it lol. It is a very nice car tho.
Just the prestige of telling people you own a Porsche, you don’t have to tell them its a model 😂
Looks like you had lots of fun with it 😂
oh it was greeatttt 🤣
Blimey 🤥
Lots of fun was had 😂🤣😂
The TTcombat ones are cheap that is only good thing I say about them. The instructions are poor you spend ages hunting for the right part. I also dont understand why they are so difficult to remove the parts from the sheets. You have to cut them out as you did with a knife other kits often you can just press them out.
Absolutely the hunting through 10 sheets of mdf to find a part and then its the wrong bit because it looks like another bit was certainly not helping at all.
Those other kits, the components often fall off the sheet and end up in places best described as "'It's here'. 'Where?' 'Somewhere'."
I'd recommend a scalpel and making Mr build it lol.
I completely agree and this method shall be used from now on 😂
@@MightyLancerGames I also ask that this become a series of videos lol. 60 minute build a necron barge thingy without swearing would be great.
Hahaha yes Mr MLG told me your suggestions 😂😂
That looked like an absolute nightmare, but if it's any consolation it was really entertaining!
Haha well I am glad 😁
Fun watch, but yeah that looks frustrating! They absolutely shoulda burned numbers next to each piece at least, but given you were following their instructions, I could see some places where they really shoulda had you build in a different order to make it easier on ya!
Yes there were places I thought “why the smeg have I had to put that bit on first?!” Haha
and now you get to paint all that wood brown, this kits a gift that keeps on giving🤣
😂😂 and as we all know Brown is my least favourite colour
Haha. I think this goes up there with the easy build car as one of my favorites 😅
Haha at least I wasn’t too blase to use the instructions 😂
My video of this would've ended with me watching the cursed thing burn in a firepit, while I relaxed on a garden chair. MDF kits are super cheap, and look great once painted, but there's usually a phase of blood, sweat, and tears before that can happen!
I am very sure I replied to this, but it has gone now, maybe the mdf has stolen the comment
