Just a quick trek back up the driveway to my house after yesterday’s snow in Western North Carolina.
If you watched the video you would see the inside
Hey...I want to see the inside! Very disappointed.
The video shows the inside.
This is up in the mountain of Mount Mitchell witch is 6,664 feet of elevation located at MOUNT MITCHELL NATIONAL STATE PARK . The first National Park in North Carolina . Down below , but i mean very down below is ASHEVILLE witch don's get this kind of weather. I don't live there but , but I'm COMING SOON .
No this is not near mt Mitchell this is at Biltmore lake enka nc. In the roadway of the townhouse I lived in.
+timnc1 and yes Asheville does get snow like this. Where this was taken is only about 15 minutes from downtown Asheville
Man....I live in Florida but I wanna move to Gatlinburg tn or north Carolina sooo bad....I'm tired of flat land...I love the mountains and not too much snow like in Buffalo...this is perfect...what maybe 10 inches maximum.....funny how ALOT of people wanna move to warmer and sunny climates but I'm done with it I wanna go to small town.....after im done with my radiology program I should be northbound....GOD willing!
I wanna move to NC from Onario, Canada. But this is the kind of weather I want to avoid. Does the snow stay on the ground the whole winter or does it melt away? Do you know of any cheap to live places with great, hilly, twisting roads like NC that don't get heavy snow? That are snow-free year-round? Ty. :)
The climate in Asheville is relatively mild and snow doesn't stick around, at least not in the many years I have lived in NC - visiting Asheville... the weather is changing a bit however. Overall its still relatively mild, and the snow isn't frequent nor does it stay around the entire winter. I don't know of any places that would be very inexpensive unless they were remote, but you could find places outside of Asheville in the mountains that are less expensive and relatively affordable. None of the places that I know of in Western NC, get "Heavy" snow...
i remember that my power went out for 2 days
Beautiful city I am considereing moving to asheville either there or Charlotte I just dont know much about jobs in either city so yeah :(
I was there, working with Progress Energy to restore power. Though I worked my but off, and missed Christmas back home, I enjoyed the trip. Asheville is a beutifull city. I will never forget watching my guys (hardened tree men) make snow angels and have snowball fights like children.
I wish I was there!!! Merry Christmas
