This video is created to give a preview, also partially be a guide, to travelling from the city of Udupi to Bangalore (with some additional clips of places to visit).
We have already posted 2 out of 3 possible (popular) routes, Charmady-Karkala being the first and Shirady-Mangalore being the second uploaded. The last suggested route through Shirady-Dharmasthala-Karkala will be created and uploaded some time in the future.

why did you go via Mangalore to Udupi? any specific reason? Google maps shows a direct route to udupi after you descend from Shiradi Ghat.
We were recommended Shiradi Ghat by a few people online who regularly travel specifically to Mangalore. Additionally this is also the route we saw in a few RUclips videos. So we figured we'd try this route out. As mentioned in the description, Google Maps does show a different route through a place called "Dharmastala," which we might check out in a future trip.
Sakleshpura bypass is now open to public, you could had saved 10 -15 min.

I’m afraid I do not know the route you are referring to. Roads via this route are quite narrow but are in relatively good condition. Wider roads are present via Shirali Ghat but conditions in this route are mentioned in other vlogs as not ideal.
