Mrs BabyCakes
Великобритания
Добавлен 12 июл 2016
Mrs BabyCakes come from a nickname my hubby gave me, who we call Mr Hunky. I have fibromyalgia, and Sjorgrens, and recently been told I have severe Osteoarthritis, and am awaiting to have knee surgery, which can all be very debilitating, and I work part time. I love animals I have 3 dogs, 4 cats . We love nature, being outside. Both my husband and I have multiple health issues, and we just try to love and enjoy life the best we can. I love to crochet, cook, go for walks, (when able), , and gardening (I made my garden disabled friendly). I am always on a diet, and recently been diagnosed with a binge eating disorder that I have after being on a waiting list for 4 years, for treatment. Just going to chat about life in general, the ups and downs, having a chronic illness can give you.
I’m Done - my truth
I saw this on the Internet today and it really resonated very strongly with me. I have had a lot of trauma through my life not just family related but through relationships. This resonated to me through my very core, it’s as if I wrote it about myself.

Just a small memorandum to Kimi, who will forever be in our hearts. Her loss will be keenly felt. We will miss her so much.
We had to make a sad decision
Просмотров 62 месяца назад
Our beautiful girl Kimi took a downturn Saturday night, despite pain killers, and over Sunday, we sought advice from the vet, and it was decided that we could no longer wait and see, as she was starting to suffer, as we were unable to control her pain. So it is with a great sadness that we had to let her go. Kimi our beautiful girl, died where she was born, surrounded by those that loved her. I...

It’s too soon for this video but our beautiful stinky pickle Kimi has taken a turn for the worst and we are going to have to let her go. We are so sad as you can imagine having only lost Phoebe in May. We were hoping to have longer with her but the tumour she developed had other ideas. We’re devastated. :(
Cumbria, Harlech and Snowdonia Adventures

So we’ve had a few adventures over this month firstly we went to Cumbria as we wanted to scatter Phoebe‘s ashes at Buttermere. We took the dogs with us on this occasion. We are aware that the oldies are getting to the point where we might not be able to do this with so much longer, so we wanted to make it a special long weekend with them. Then for Hunky‘s birthday, we went to North Wales where ...

Blessings to Queen Elizabeth II our wonderful monarch who has sadly passed away.
That is me exactly! So real.
Wow! That’s resonated with me thanks for posting! (I’m an alienated adult a choice made by my only child! She also won’t let me see my grandchildren!) You popped up in my feed just now. Take care of yourself 😊
@@carolinethedragonslayer I am estranged as well, again not by choice. Take care of yourself.
Miss her so much , we have lost two wonderful souls so close together , my heart is broken
Those chocolate eyes of love. I'm sorry this darling isn't in ur arms anymore. I'm sure u can see her all around ur house still. They leave their imprints on our hearts. It hurts for a very long time, except it does get a bit easier. I wish u happier memories and less sad ones❤❤❤❤
Thank you, it comes in waves atm. I am trying to focus on the other dog. We will go to Cumbria in July to spread her ashes. She loved it there. I appreciate your words.x
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you x
Grazie per l'amore che dai
She was easy to Love 🥰 Thank you 🙏
The press were responsible for the death of Diana have they learnt nothing from their reprehensible behavior, leave her alone to recover
It drives me mad! It must be a really slow news day if all they can do is focus on a so called “troubling” photo. I mean realistically who doesn’t tweak photos. Does that mean we’re all dodgy? Of course not. It’s just beggars belief. The media stirring up nonsense yet again. A non story.
I just love this one; the dogs make it so fun to watch! But I worry about walking over all that snow with no path!
I know this area really well, so know where to walk x
You got a nice place
What happen? Which disease
I have Sjorgrens Syndrome its an auto immune disease
Ahh thank you, I shall have a look.
Really enjoyed this. I made a “walking in the snow in the Cotswolds” video myself but I think yours is more interesting because the dogs are so entertaining. Also loved your comments to them.
How is ur fistula now??
It’s great, no Leakage, I can’t feel the to of my bladder, so lose sensation when o need to pee. So just have to make sure I don’t get too full. As I can’t feel I am full. So have had occasional accident until I realised. I do have genitofemoral nerve damage which causes pain. Bending and stretching on any way causes pain. So I have struggled to find work that doesn’t aggravate it, as it’s inoperable. It’s from having two huge surgery’s.
Good Video With Good View and Very Enjoy 😄👍 my video about animal and nature you can see it 😄👍
Glad you enjoyed the video
Have you tried different stores??, I can understand your frustration, in my case, I would get a bag and a bunch plastic sleeves, slip in receipts, photocopy of receipt and manual with warranty which you store in the bag and repeat with all your appliances so you have a file for each thing you buy with warranty, hope that helps you in the future with such cases like these.
All sorted now after what felt like a million years I finally got a refund
Hi, your journey has been so helpful. I have a vesicovaginal fistula and searching for a surgeon to repair it. Was it Bristol hospital you had surgery? If so what was your surgeons names who repaired your fistula? Glad you are recovering well. Take care
Yes it was Bristol
Thank you!! So many people go through not only having a fistula, but also going through a million doctors all telling you different things with all of it just being Bull-oni!! It's frustrating, it's miserable, it puts your life on pause and you can't see any light at the end of the tunnel. I am going through it now only I believe that not only is it a fistula but also a prolapse. It's awful and you would think that it wouldn't be that hard for experienced doctors to figure this out quickly but.....no. It's like they are blind for the first few months you are in treatment and FINALLY....they start to see what is actually happening. Loved listening to your story, and you have a great attitude considering everything you told us!! :)
I had surgery three weeks ago to repair my fistula. I’m off my catheter now and starting to feel like my old self. I just wanted to say thank you again for your videos.
Your welcome!
Thank you for sharing your story, it has been a very difficult journey for you so far. Best of luck and hoping that you will have the best surgeon to perform the surgery and that you will be able to live a full life thereafter. The incontinence is so limiting and you are a young woman. I just happened upon your excellent video whilst researching vaginal condition which I may have, abcess skenes gland. Thank you again for helping others.
How r u now?
Thank you! I hate being on a catheter but I have a pinprick fistula and my doctor wants to give it a chance to heal before resorting to surgery. This series has made me feel heard.
maile enos hi I’m sorry but what is a pinprick fistula? I’ve been searching for videos about vagina fistulas and I have no hope. I had an mri done and they can not see my fistula even though obviously my doctor knows I have one from my description, pain and suffrage. I hope yours is healing!
Thank you! I’m single and going through this now. I wonder if I’ll find a partner.
maile enos I am sorry your going through this, hopefully you will get treatment and all will be well. Healing vibes!
Thank you! I’m dealing with one right now. I had a hysterectomy two months ago.
Bless you hunny, I am sorry your going through that. I am ok now after repair, no leaking, except I now have genitofemoral nerve damage, so awaiting treatment for that. But no leaking is the best thing ever!
I'd really love to know how you're doing. Did you have the procedure done? I'm going through this now and it's the hardest thing ever....
Noraida Flores hi yes, if you look at my playlist, I do talk about surgery. I am now leak free after repair, although I am still suffering with genitofemoral nerve pain and neuropathy caused by scarring in my abdomen, which has been quite painful and I am awaiting treatment for this atm. However leak free! Which is great, and now have a bladder like a camel!
@@mrsbabycakes5551 yes I found the video. It's a rough time. I now have a bag on my right kidney due to a fistula on the right ureter. I'm 36 and feel like a granny because of this. I can't even leave my house, lost my job due to so many surgeries. Thank u for making these videos because they have given me hope to go back to normal some day
Did you have trouble with UTI anymore after that first one? Also did the cystoscopy cause infection ? I see where you had two cystocopies.
Trenika Austin yes I had a lot of UTIs. I use D-Mannose to help with those.
New subscriber! I love the vibe I get from your channel and how welcome it and calm it is here! I was thinking of giving you a shoutout on my channel for exchange of a shoutout as well. I hope you grow really fast and gain way more subs! You deserve it girl!
So awful
I developed an RVF from a prolapse surgery that did not heal well. awaiting my surgery in may.
I know exactly what you're talking about with the catheter. I had mesh removal and had to carry one home for 3 weeks. I have just found out yesterday I also have a vesicovaginal fistula. So just waiting for Monday to make an appointment with my specialist. Oh gosh....I so hated that catheter and now I will have more surgery to repair the fistula and will once again have to carry one around. Carrying it around is much easier, lol.
Renate Scheepers wondering how you got on with your repair?
Thank you.
In 2016 I was diagnosed with a vaginal fistula. In 2018 I now believe it has closed on its own because I am no longer wearing the heavy pads but now i wear light pads. It seems that I am not strong enough to hold the urine in. the pelvic floor exercises seem to be helping right now. I am just watching to see how strong I can get the pelvic floor muscles to work in order to hold in the urine. Wow, i am so sorry you have to go through so many procedures in different transfers from Doctor to doctor. I was wondering are you a Christian? do you pray? based on my experience I have learned that praying and trusting in Jesus helps a lot and we know that our God Is A Healer he is able to heal us. Doctors are great but always pray and seek God's healing as well. I will pray for you. By the way, I am a woman, this is my husband account...lol
Anthony Reid if you are not able to hold the urine this would suggest you still have the fistula, have you had this checked?i couldnt hold my urine no matter what exercises I did. I would have it checked out. You don’t have to go through this. Thank you for your kind words.
Ooops...forgot to add the word "Much" in the first comment 😲😂
Thank you soooooooo for sharing...you're amazing...
Denise Washburn thank you, I am glad it helped you.
Thank you so much for this series. Best of luck to you..

I totally agree with what you say about politics, I am slightly too young to vote but If I could I would be labour all the way. It's really nice to hear your opinion because I was starting too loose faith in the uk 😂
Very good!

Well said, Mrs BabyCakes.
Loved it. Very interesting Food I have not heard of before.
I will have to save some of the snacks for you to try!
Thank you! I liked your video you speak a lot of sense. #Respect
Bless you sister. A very well explained point of view. The photos showing the modesty of Christian women in the Victorian era really surprises me. The women in those times placed a very high value on modest dressing,.. almost similar to Muslim values on modest dressing, presently. I believe that as Christian values in Europe were rejected or not practiced through the ages, you can see the evolution of the so called "Christian" women dressing from their modest dressing in the Victorian era to the current almost naked bikini. How Christian morals has really changed through time. So sad.
Well argumentation.
My mum reminded that in the 1960's Britain they were trying to make a law about mini-skirts and women protested, Why aren't the women of France supporting the dictatorship of women's apparel? This is why! ruclips.net/video/aVKVOohWUf0/видео.html
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 whoever raised you should be proud👍🏼❤️
I come from a very multi racial background, one of my sisters is 1/2 Kenyan, and I have a step mum who is Chinese, my dad was a Buddhist, and my Mum is a Catholic, and religion is my family is very diverse with many different faiths. We all get along fine ( we argue over politics, not religion). I have lived all over the world am an ex army brat. I strongly believe even freedom of faith, whether I believe in Islam is irrelevant, but its your freedom to follow your faith, just as it is mine. The media have a lot to say in all this, as they have driven many of the arguments, and fanned the fear, and too many people dont like to think outside the box, or do their own research. Too many sheep in this world sadly.
Wow!!!! Never been to Cumbria, but with that view, it's on the holiday list now 👍🏻
