Here is a memory that dates back to when I was only 14 years of age and in 8th grade. I basically grew up watching the Three Stooges. I mainly remember watching them on WTAE Channel 4 Pittsburgh, PA. Anyway here is one thing I don't think I will ever forget. I will never forget my eighth grade Math teacher. That man incredibly like Curly Joe De Rita!!! I think this is the first time I told anyone that but my eighth grade math teacher which was 1973-74 over in Elkins, WV looked a lot like Curly Joe other than the teacher was probably heavier. Well anyway that is something i have wanted to say for years now and i have now after about 50 years now have said it!

This was the early 50s and was a low point in Sinatra’s career. These Sinatra tv shows bombed & the ratings were low, the show was canceled a few months later!

Joe besser was a terrible stooge. Curly moe Larry and shemp was the best. Shemp was my favorite

In my opinion ALL of the stooges were great, every single one, NOW, i think that Moe was the most committed of all of them and he was able to do the physical stuff until the lung cancer got him. He was on the Mike Douglas show several or more times in the last few years of his life. I suggest anyone watch his appearances on the Mike Douglas show.

MOE DID WRITE A PRETTY GOOD BOOK THAT WAS PUBLISHED A FEW YEARS AFTER HIS DEATH ( PROBABLY DUE TO A LEGAL TIE UP) " MOE HOWARD AND THE 3 STOOGES ." WORTH SEEKING OUT.

As the leader Moe was the shortest, at 5' 3 ½", of the six men who became members of The Three Stooges. Larry, Joe Besser and Joe DeRita ("Curly Joe") were all 5'4". Brothers Jerome ("Curly") was 5'5" and Shemp was a towering 5'7".but to me growing up they were all ten feet tall, i loved them, i can't imagine a world with out them

I worked at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital 1974-1976. One day it was rumored Moe was in an isolation room. He was seriously ill. Our department was in charge with certain medical equipment which I was in charge of inventorying. My manager didn't allow me to go into Moe's room. He went himself. So I missed meeting Moe!

For some reason i could never consider Curly as one of the Stooges but still they were good.

I watched a few other interviews with the stooges. This really shows just how real that they were. Never got to see what they were really like after watching the shows.

I'd like to see an interview before both of Moe's brothers died.

Joe DeRita was no real Stooge! The only Stooges are first and supreme the original Curley, then Moe and Larry. Yes Shemp is there but not like the rest! No one else!

I wasn't a fan of Joe in the Stooges, but he seemed like a nice guy.

How did they agree to not hit him and he doesn't hit anyone. The stooges are a slapstick show. I just can't bring myself to watch any of the shorts with Joe in the group.

I loved watching Joe Besser as a Stooge when I was growing up. I still love him!!
