    Tony knew she had talent. He treated her like a doting dad. It devastated him when she passed. He knew she could sing the blues.

    Amy seemed like a child, so nervous to be there, to be with someone she admired. She wanted to know she was giving her best to her idol. Watching this is truly heartbreaking

    I know for a fact that smoking can deteriorate the vocals and I think this is what was happening with hers 😔

    Everyone made fun of her illnesses and treated her like a joke. She didn’t think she was worthy to be in a room with him because she believed what everyone said about her. He treated her with respect and kindness, like she was a real person. It’s the most heartbreaking scene in the documentary because we see how broken down she is right before she died, and we wonder if there were more people like Tony in her life, would she have survived?

    she was just a perfectionist, i do believe that she wasn't as confident with her vocals in front of her idol (i mean who will be) but as a perfectionist you want to get it right and you'll do whatever it takes for it to sound just like you want

    The thing is, Amy’s voice was past its prime at this stage and she knew it. The Amy of 2004/2006 would’ve belted this out in one take, effortless. This Amy was weary and her confidence gone. It’s so sad really.

    • @JJ-bm3fh
      @JJ-bm3fh 3 года назад

      Agreed! In a interview she said that she would always have singing and that is one thing no one can take from her. Sadly it was taken from her and it must have killed her in the inside because she couldn't belt as much anymore it was damaged not like 2004 or 2006. Sad.

      Whole lot of sadness in this doc. Tony's voice-over would blame it on the most famous artists being the most nervous, but yeah, it's all in relationship. Sometimes sadness comes from a place of what could have been.
