Have you ever actually killed a deer or hog being there while recording your videos? I don't know how someone can be recording video and also be paying attention if there are any deer close by.

I’ve been trying to catch a giant one living under my front porch for a year, and a half. In the process I’ve only managed to catch 2 raccoons, 7 skunks, and 20+ opossums. I’m going to switch from cat food to worms, and see if I can catch that pesky flower bed killer. 👍 from Texas.

Wild fishing. It's weird going from fishing a river to a creek and then a lake. They all fish so differently. Hopefully you'll post more! I'm here after watching your Chromium review and unboxing. I'm hoping to visit Kistler sometime soon to meet them.

I almost busted an ankle one night so now they get the pew pew.. try throwing some cayenne pepper in the areas you see holes and put the dirt back on it and this should help deter them. Also pour some of that cayenne pepper around areas of your fence you see holes.

all the armos around my house only come out at night and at different times so it's super frustrating trying to find out where their coming from. I have gotten up and down all night looking outside trying to catch em in act but apparently missed em because the next morning I go outside and find what looks like pig rootings from where the armo just mocked and laughed at me and dug my yard up some more. Steam boiling out my ears! Oh and while surveying my yard at 2:am last night I find a giant opossum in the back yard, so I'm thinking the critters are ganging up on me now 😮 They both got to go, one way or another

Pretty sure the 100 and 200 is the actual size of the reel, not how many yards of line it can hold. It is a 100 sized reel.

    • @typicaloutdoors3335

My favorite Bandito Bug is the Oakachobee Craw. That thing kills. Green pumpkin red flake is another. So people like throwing a crawfish color chatterbait this time of year. I have used many colors. I like mixing my chatterbait with contrasting color trailers. As far as worms I will base it on water clarity. But can't go wrong with the plum color. Hope you get out there and catch a big one. Thanks for the watch. Stay tuned for some good times on the water!

I took it to a local shop in the area and they found a small piece in my lower unit causing the issue. I want to say an impaler. nothing to major. I had the boat serviced while it was in and I was out the door for under 800 buck. I think just the repair was like 200.

I would have used either cheese cloth or a fishing mesh to wrap the cut bait, It keeps bait stealers from pecking at it. Also, would have juiced it with some mullet scented gel.

I fish East Bay at night a lot out of Matagorda, in my kayak. One thing about fishing at night. Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. It'll test your patience. I fish a lot of back lakes and sloughs and when there is any wind, which is most of the time, precise casting is difficult, because you usually can't see your lure. If there is no wind, then don't forget your bug spray. lol Sometimes those shallow coves really heat up at night, especially on a low tide that flushes the bait out of the grass. You will hear schools of reds coming toward you from 50 yards away because they are popping the bait so hard. A large noisy top water, like a Super Spook is usually my first choice. I have caught 26" trout up in sloughs where they would never be in the daytime. It is best in the summer when you can avoid the 90-100 degree daytime temps.

Use a wooden trap. They work much better and need no bait. Once you trap an armadillo it, leave it in the trap for around 12 hours. It will put its scent into the trap and that scent will attract other armadillos. The more you catch the better it works. You need to take them farther away to relocate them. Otherwise they will eventually return to your yard. Take them at least 10 miles away, preferably in a wooded or swampy area. BTW - If you are quick enough, you probably could have walked up to the one you chased and picked it up. Do it quickly because they will buck and jump out of your hands. One night I caught a mother with three babies following. I walked right up and picked up two of the babies. The other two were gone by the time I was able to contain the two I caught. i put them in a bathtub until I relocated them the next day.
