"Home" Guitar (+ Everything Else) Cover WITH DOG
an everything cover of my favourite song, "Home" by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes! I dedicate this one to by wonderful best friend Bowie the dog (who features at the end in all his canine glory). Hope you all enjoy! I had a blast making this one, its probably my most ambitious cover yet, it took at least 3 days of arranging, recording and editing to make!

@@luccapiani unfortunately not, I just learned it by ear :( it’s not too complex, most of it is repeating lines with a little variation, it is a good exercise at ear learning!

can you link the tone? Also are you using a single coil or a humbucker?
It’s a single coil squier strat through a fender mustang amp. Can’t tell you too much about the tone because I don’t really remember much about the specific amp settings, but I’m using Wiggins Brand pickups. This was recorded before I got an Audio Interface to record my guitar signal directly so it’s just filming the amp audio with a USB mic

I’m gonna have to go with either My Lovely Man or Show Me Your Soul for his very best solo. Never came close after BSSM. Saddest band trajectory in all of music. But he and the rest of the guys were a delight back in the day.
