Terra as a character didn't deserve that but as a boss fight...100% deserved that. I only won cause Donald's rocket went off and obliterated his final health bar after the cheese got halted lol. I still think we got robbed in KH3. We should have gotten to play as LIngering Will and beat the living daylights out of Terranort in glorious KH3 graphics.

Crazy to think that if it wasn't for this playthrough, I wouldn't be the person I am today... which is like a WEIRD thing to say but it kickstarted my love for the KH series and eventually Final Fantasy. (Not to mention how I unconsciously reference these boys on a regular basis).

This hurts me because I NEVER successfully pulled this cheese off. There's also a horizontal slash cheese if I'm correct where you can infinitely hit him with it. (until your MP bar recharges because Berserk Charge is only active when you have no MP)

Losing I belive is the canon outcome. But winning you get the crystal regalia+ which is a reference to the quartz regalia which is the cars name. And possibly links quadratum to the Fabula Nova Crystallis universe. Which is what the trio of tittles ff13 vs 13 and type0 were to be known as.

I just beat him this morning for the first time. That series of attempts came out to probably 5-7 tries to finally beat him. It was so cathartic lol. Dude, Final Form is beast during this fight. You block his attacks, combos, and certain abilities with Final Form’s attacks, and easily avoid most of his Desperation Attack. And speed at which you can do damage is a huge boon, since during your first combo Lingering Will only takes chip damage at first but then incrementally becomes larger and larger amounts of damage. The speed at which you can increase the amount of damage you do in a shorter amount of time is a godsend. Dude, Donald’s healing came in clutch for me no joke.

Genuinely awful, how can someone stream this game and then resort to this garbage. One of the most fun fights in any game. Lame and the perfect reason to remove this channel from my recommendations.

Infinitly combos finishers together to beat OP boss. Seems fair xD

If you get Fenrir, you can cheese every boss after.

I've been using Fenrir + negative combo for *years* but I never bothered doing many super bosses so I never knew this was possible.

I was trying to beat Terra for like 4 hours and do this makes me feel like he whas nothing LMAO

I've been trying since release of Re:Mind just to beat Data Luxord... still haven't been able to do that.

I whooped his ass... And Terra didn't deserve ANY of that... His story is one of my favorites, and I cry almost every time I play through it again...

I could never get this cheese to work, but honestly I don't mind. This fight may be hard, but it's super fun once you get it down. So fun fact, I did a 100% run of KH2FM once and I actually didn't know you could upgrade Serenity Crystal into Manifest Illusion, so when I found I needed more than one MI to do all the synthesis I figured I had to get them from Lingering Will. So I ended up beating LW like four times in total. XD When I discovered my mistake I actually yelled "I COULD HAVE SYNTHESISED THEM THIS WHOLE TIME!?"

I cried while fighting sephiroth in KH1 and 2. My soul broke fighting Terra and this dude was the reason I NEVER finished KH2 on 100%. Beat the shit out of him for all of us

If you disable the big jump skill, you will be able to hit Lingering Will way faster.

I fought him properly on a ps2 emulator before 1.5 and 2.5 was a thing. I also didn't have a controller to use, so it was straight keyboard with "wasd" as my left analog stick, and my directional buttons as the action buttons, ctrl next to direction buttons as lock on and Q for shortcut menu. After dealing with that bs for a few months, I finally beat him. I now only cheese LW when playing as I've done it properly 😂
