yes :) it‘s air drying clay, you just have to be careful while it dries because it takes 1-2 days until its harder on the outside

normally the one I use is only sticky when I need to use a bit of water with it and after kneading it a while it gets normal again an stops sticking to everything 😅 did you have this problem with foam clay?

@the.sarahworld ty. Big time, I'm just wondering if it's too warm and melted it to a degree. I can use it still, but I have to add paint to it cause I know from the past it starts to get stiff.

we sometimes get up to 30 degree celsius in the apartment but it didn‘t affect the clay 🤔 but each brand I bought was different from the next so it‘s definitely possible

I use wisedry silica gel :) I‘m not sure where its available, I live in europe.

Hi 🙃 i use superglue (in austria its also called seconds glue) it works great with foam clay and most surfaces

Hi :) it depends a lot on how thick your clay piece is. The one in the video took about a week until it was completely dry, but after about 2-3 days you can safely touch & use it 😊

I think UV resin could turn yellow, if you want it to last longer maybe normal resin would be a better choice :) it shouldn‘t get yellow over time I heard

yes I see your point 😂 I‘m planning to do another video without using fresh clay. But if you leave the microwaved clay in the bag for a few hours it also works :) I just wasn‘t patient enough

3rd one you could have just added flour and it would have been perfect. By the way what clay did you break up as don't see to seen that type here in England UK

In most of my videos with foam clay I use a soft surface to put my foam clay pieces on :) But it has to be REALLY soft otherwise gets just a weird imprint from the surface 😅 And in the video where I buy different foam clay brands you can see my foam clay from amazon get really flat on the bottom 🙈

I use only Super glue (the one you get in tiny tubes), because it works great with foam clay and most other surfaces 😊

ohh thank you so much 🥰 You can definitely use it for earrings, you just have to be a bit more careful while handling them if they have parts that could break off 😅 and I haven‘t used molds yet but I heard you can get them out easier if you put the clay with the mold in the freezer I think 🤔 I made one video about using foam clay for giant earrings and in the video where I compare foam clay and polymer clay I use some cutters, maybe the videos help :)

thats a great idea actually 😊 I‘m not sure how much I can actually help with that but I‘ll give my best 🤓 In the meantime, in my older videos with foam clay, I show the whole process in a lot more detail - like how I make nice, smooth clay balls… and hopefully some more useful tips I can‘t think of right now 😅

Hi! Cracking itself not really, but between parts that stick to each other it happens often because the clay is shrinking a bit while drying 🥲 haven‘t really found a solution for that

the one with the flower? unfortunately no, but I can definitely make one 😊
