I only clicked on this video to explain the contradiction in your title and description. Improvisation is to do something dynamic without preparing for it. "Mistakes," don't exist in improvisation, only "different roads," exist. A piano improv definitely doesn't equal a song. It could become a song after, but when you sit down WITHOUT practicing and perform at the piano it is NOT. It is not composed, it is not arranged, it is not thought of deeply, it is simply an improv/random jam. More-over nothing about a solo piano piece is a song. I might sound negative from the amount of corrections i'm making here but the fact is... I am quite positive, as I only came here to say mistakes don't actually exist, especially not in something played practically at random! It has been 13 years since the last upload of this youtuber so I guess they probably won't ever see this most likely. Hopefully it serves to be informative/useful to others.
