@@hoopoebonsai3510 I would love to see an update. I have one as well I bought from stock and not many videos or info on this type on bonsai. I appreciate your time!

Noice!
Where can I find seeds or starter trees
From pines near you, where are you at? You might have different pine species'around where you are from
In the woods 🌳🪴
i agree with your opinion .. the bonsai look a great one 👍 the stone make the bonsai have perfect compotitions..
What does this one look like now?
Looks healthy
@@hoopoebonsai3510 Another video would be good
Yeah I took some shots of it
Did it survive the ordeal?
Yes it's growing strong
What kind of walnut tree is it?
Black walnut
Good Luck with this project. I have worked on a lot of recovered oaks and generally find that early winter gives the best chances of recovery. I too put them in a large container for a year or two before trying for the bonsai pot. BUT...I have also had some success going straight to a pot so I will keep my prayers active for this one :)
Might be worth it to save some clippings and grow them separately before it fully leafs out, just in case the main tree dies off. Great tree tho!
Thanks You mean cuttings? I want the tree to continue from that top branch I will wire the branch once it gets established
Wow, great little tree! You may want to consider a more free draining, mainly inorganic soil mix next time. The way I understand it, all those little pockets of air between the larger granules will help promote more feeder roots. Cheers!
Did it survive ?
Nice!! Good moves, love it.
Hi To Boston I do like Bruins
Looks good! 👍 What was the little accent plant you tucked into the rock?
That is some of the succulents it's low growing hoping it runs down the rock
Nice. I collected a couple about this size in September (UK). Waiting ‘till the Spring to see how they’re doing, before I start to wire them. Got an English Oak about 3ft tall as well!
Good job 👌
Nice! How old is this seedling? I have some I grew from seed this year and planning to wire in the spring.
Not sure exactly One year I think . what do you have an Oak?
@@hoopoebonsai3510 live oaks! I collected some seeds last year 6 out of 10 survived! I collected a lot more this year, now that I know what I’m doing haha I also grabbed some cedar elms. And planning to try those too.
@@iPheek I do the same 😉we collected great maples holy oaks Acorns and planted around my land, cedars, chestnuts Are great for small pots
@@hoopoebonsai3510 have you done cedar elms?
@@iPheek not yet not seen much of them where I am
What oak is evergreen? Ilex aka Holm oak?
Yes they are two species one has smaller leaves slow growing
Nice 👍
Good luck. I'm really keen to find out if with that little amount of root this transplant will survive. Please do provide an update.
They all have roots like this from that place long and thick. I will do update of course but so far so good no brown or falling foliage
La vidéo est magnifique
Just saw this video. Is this the same little oak from the other video, where the soil was rocky?
ruclips.net/video/C8x4RZD2t5o/видео.html Hi no ,it's this one
Would love to see another video on the progress of this little oak.

What kind of tree? 👍👍🙏🙏
Nice👍👍 ❤️
I personally thought this was a good starter forest style. How are they doing since then.
Not good to be honest this year was very cold in Portugal did them in wrong time
@@hoopoebonsai3510 that's not good, hope they bounce back.
Hey I dug up a pine around spring time but the candles never grew out and eventually around summertime it died. Was it dug up too early?
Yes last spring I took few seedlings out in summer and only one survived. But those I took at the beginning of summer or after summer are doing fine
Chanel dan videonya mantap bray, semoga bisa terus berkarya baik bonsai dan sharing ilmu nya juga di dunia bonsai ya bray 👍👍👍 Jangan lupa mampir ke chanel gw juga ya Bray

Hey,really enjoy your video...keep it up..it's a great tree.
Wow, great movement. Hope it makes it!
Ah man I was hoping to see you pull it out! I have the same problems when collecting oaks. Their is always that side thick root that gets in the way haha
I was thinking of getting it out later when it's colder outside
@@hoopoebonsai3510 record that and share! 😁
Nice video :)
Thanks getting better with them
Are you Portuguese?
No, I am not
That’s a nice pot.
How old is that first tree in your video?
Seedling 2 years?
Thanks, I have one that is a year old, trying to gauge how fast it will grow.
Love this sort of stuff...gnarly to the max! An exciting find for sure.
Wow, great tree! What kind of oak is it? Tons of branches, should be really cool one day.
Pyrenean oak, I have already trimmed the thicker branches but didn't record it.
Is it possible to grow oak tree at a temperature of 20-30 degree Celsius..........
It should... Google it or look at your local forests
Is it possible to grow oak tree at a temperature of 20-30 degree Celsius
Yes why not?
Yes they grow spontaneously in all mediterranean basin
Maybe you could jerk those roots around some more
Yes I could thanks
Just found your videos. Very satisfying. Keep it up!
Thanks sir I will
Is this a Quercus Alba? I have a recently collected seedling with similarly discoloured leaves (whitish spots), do you know what the problem could be? Thanks.
This is the fungal mycelium, the asexual part of the fungus, which grows on living leaf tissue and hungrily taps into the sugars that the plant has busily captured during photosynthesis.
I have it on other one too but it doesn't seem to affect it. Is it like a white powder that you can wipe off?
Great tree but got to change the pot
Yes of course but I will wait for the next season
