The party was a bit weird and didn't make much sense to me. Angel is probably the most interesting side characters and friend.

So much screen time wasted on irrelevant side characters and storylines - Vicky, her band of cougars, Vicky and Alfonso bonding over dead spouses, Bolano's kid and her boyfriend hunting for apartments, Arnau and Amy. Time that would be far better spent giving Bruno a background story showing his progression, philosophy discussions, depth to Pol's friends so they're more interesting than wallpaper paste, or maybe better treatment to the godawful HIV and Axel stories (if we have to keep them).

Oti is to Pol what Tania is to Bruno. There were a few good moments in the second season, but most of it was just not very enjoyable to watch. Something I can't say about the first season or the first series. I really wish the writer had gone a very different direction.

I guess that was one use for the Dino character, to teach Pol that it is possible to live and still have a life with HIV. Still found the character a bit creepy, the whole Satanasa set up actually. Not as creepy as Axle though.

Love that segment at the end where he's recognizing his father. Was happy to see that Alfonso accepted, and is proud of his son who just happens to be a little different. Aside from those Pol/Alfonso moments, the best part of the second season is the last 5 or 10 minutes at graduation that wipes away all the second season trash and sets the stage for what's next. It's a shame the first season was such a poor adaptation of the source story material, and the second was so far off the rails that wasted so much time on irrelevant side characters and storylines. Knowing there was a risk cancellation, Lozano should have scrapped all of the side stories and characters to build a storyline for Bruno to mature. It runs in the background and you have Pol and he interacting occasionally to serve as that constant reminder. Come graduation, Bruno steps forward with that "Hello Pol" type scene. Cut to the painting scene that shows him happy and he gets a call from Bruno asking when he will be home for dinner.

El mensaje subliminal siempre es el mismo en cuántas producciones se realicen en Cataluña , los jóvenes hablan catalán y los viejos castellano , el mensaje es claro .

They did some good stuff in this show, but they also made some incredibly bad decisions with the story. I appreciate seeing Pol chase Merli's inspiration, but the show could have been so much better.
