Not quite. While it is activated via the resource pack menu, it is ultimately useless without the immersive railroading mod being installed. This is because the mod is pulling the models from the resource pack, not the base game. I’m not even sure if the game will let you activate the pack without the mod being installed to be quite honest.

I can't find the fual for the dizles in my mod. Can ypu help? In your next update can you add buffers? Also, if you could build a geared logging locomotive that would be cool!!!

I think I was the first person to crash these, overturned then after going around a slightly tight bend a bit too fast

Sorry for the late reply, have had some issues recently dealing with personal life. We are both correct actually. Broad gauge is Brunel. Broad gauge as we commonly know it was originally proposed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1838, and as such, Brunel is a common nickname for it. It also happens to be the name that we use in IR, instead of broad gauge, as broad gauge actually denotes a range of gauges (theoretically anything wider then standard), while Brunel is a very specific gauge.
