What a brilliant night this was. I remember recording this & still have the prodigy set which was absolutely incredible. N’Joi were the kings at this time of the scene but as we know within a year it was the Prodigy who’d become the biggest PA on the circuit. Amazing memories of seeing all these bands in those early years. 🕊️🤯🕊️

The woman miming along here is Saffron, who would later go on to be famous as the singer in Republica in the 90s. As with so many rave era songs, the vocals are actually sampled from a number of songs: "Peanut Butter" by Gwen Guthrie, "I Found Love" by Darlene Davis and "Back to Life" by Soul II Soul.

Njoi... on a different level, and believe me, there were dozens of incredibly groundbreaking artists, but their music was the future. How amazing that even with all the thousands of piano anthems released since 91/92, Anthems with its apt name...is the classic Piano anthems that is head above the rest. Let's not forget the incredible techno tunes Njoi released. Incredible
