Center tower
First we climbed 50m up to the North-Center col to access the conditions by being a bit closer and higher. We elected to take the SW face up Center peak.
The route finding is trick here. Without dropping too much from the base of the lower leg of the V, we traversed climbers left towards Center tower observing a cairn. After which the route goes back up a little bit over rocks to access the top of the pocket glacier. Game of crampons on and off.
We ditched most of our gear at the base including the rope and climbed the SW face just climber's right of the waterfall gulley. In about 1 hr of scrambling and low 5th climbing we reached to the summit of the Center peak at 6 pm. Last e...
