Coral Bay on the Ningaloo Coast is a top destination for West Aussies, it can get crazy busy but we travelled here at the best time of the year to beat the crowds. We did some epic diving with sharks, manta rays turtles and heaps more. We took our tinny out on our first Ningaloo reef mission and got ourselves into a bit of trouble out on the open ocean. We enjoyed some relaxing days on the stun...

After leaving Dirk Hartog Island we headed to Francois Peron National Park in the Shark Bay region of Western Australia. Unfortunately, we didn't have the perfect trip we envisaged after getting into a bit of trouble on the track. However, we still managed to get in a few swims, Waz speared us some dinner and we shucked some fresh oysters from the rocks. This is probably one of the most underra...

Love your channel ❤️
Love your channel.
Hey just found your channel well done guys x
Thanks so much for watching and your support ☺️
Was good when you could just rock up and camp, online bookings suck
We were talking about that when we were there. Waz used to camp there as a kid,no bookings, no facilities and it was awesome. So many places going to a booking system these days
Great video guy's well done 👍
Thanks so much Paul 👍🏻
Awesome stuff! What an trip!
It was one to remember
More prado videos ❤
We actually have one in the works 😉❤️
Great vid guys 👍
Thank you, we’re stoked you liked it
Good work guys. Looks like a challenge!. I discovered you thru your Dirk Hartog Ep. Luv watching your adventures 👍. Great to see you out on foot😊
Thank you so much for your support and following along on our adventures. This one was definitely a challenge but it was incredible all the same. We want to do it again.
Nice informative video of you folks and just a word of concern for your safety please wear a life jacket next time when going out on the boat.
Where abouts did you get your arb compressor bracket mate?
Opposite Lock installed the whole compressor kit when we purchased the car
are you up north? I had an upright dometic in my canopy - it struggled to maintain internal temp < 8 degrees on its coldest setting
We’re not up north permanently but we did have it up north for almost 2 weeks, several days were high 30’s up to 42 degrees. We’ve insulated it and left heaps of space at the back for ventilation and so far it seems to be going well.
amazing set up 😎
Thank you, we love it 😊
Awesome 👍👍👍 Cheers andy 🍺🍺🍺
Cheers Andy 🍺
What sort of head were people expecting I can tell your an abusive person So very much so.
There are restrictions around collecting firewood in WA. Amongst other problems is that you remove habitat for small wildlife such as geckoes, skinks and other reptiles, insects, spiders. And there's the risk of inviting bullants to the party. You don't want those in your pants!
Here’s the link to the Hipcamp for anyone wanting to check it out www.hipcamp.com/en-AU/land/western-australia-irwin-inlet-views-kk9h9l70/sites/747802?adults=1&children=0&srid=b37d9825-95b0-47f8-be29-4c3d4f1002e5
Only just new to this camping stuff (motobike and tent) and hadn't heard of Hipcamp b4 but checking out a sample of sites seems to me they are taking the piss asking so much for what they are offering and the restrictions they place on campers
Oh some of them are extortionate for what you get but there are some really nice ones too that aren’t as expensive. Having said that some of the shire sites are getting really expensive too. We stayed in a campground with one flushing toilet in the South West region recently and it was $40 a night!
This looks wonderful. Definitely head up there
We were so surprised how nice it was up there and so close to Perth. Apparently you can book the Milligan Island campground now too
Hi mate, love the content. I'm doing the West to Easterly trip in a few weeks. I dont suppose you remember whereabouts that camp was just before Warburton? I'm figuring on hitting the same area on night 2 from Kal. Great content
Hey Randall, the camp was located about 50km south of Warburton it was a left hand track off the road. If you're on Insta send us a DM and we'll send you a screenshot of where we camped, it was an epic location well off the main road. You will bloody love the GCR, we know we did! Thanks for your kind words mate!
Sick video. Following your videos. We are from Busselton
Thank you so much for your support
Mukinboodin 😂
😂 such a tricky one
It’s pronounced (Mukenbooden)
We've since been back and made sure we pronounced it correctly 😂
Ps - you do a good job on your vids!
Thank you so much for your kind words
Thanks for this - I didn’t know about those camping sites! Always looking for good spots in wa!
They were a great find, we hope you get the chance to visit soon
@@thelittleadventurersAus I just found out after 1 July 24 that these sites are becoming bookable.
@@martinevanloon2695 yes it will be 🙌🏻 There’s quite a few they are adding to the booking site. Since it’s a really small campground it will be great to be able to book it in the future and know you’re going to have a designated spot!
Nice camp spot!
It’s up there with one of our faves
It's pronounced muk in boo din or Mukka to the locals. I worked there for a short while.
Haha such a difficult one to wrap the head around. Noted for next time
@ivanolsen8596 What a Dumb comment
Typical millennials FOMO. Have to catch everything on video! Up until the whole whale/ dolphins thing your video was okay...
Mukinbudin is pronounced mukin boo din . 😂
What site number were you?
One of us likes to brave cold water swims too, you know your alive 🙌🤗Great video guys, love your storytelling .Thank you .
It really does! Thank you for the feedback and for following along.
That’s impressive 👍🏽 But even more impressive is that awesome Grass Tree (Black Boy) behind you .. that would be 100’s of years old 😳😍💕👍🏽
I know right!! That place is littered with them too
🍀 Promo-SM
Camping spots nice scenery wow thanks for sharing
Thanks so much for watching
Awesome trip guys 👍👍👍 The tinny just opens another chapter in life, awesome part of WA down that way, keep the good stuff coming 🍻🍻🍻 Cheers Andy🍺🍺🍺
Cheers for watching Andy. Plenty more tinny missions coming 👍🏻🚤
You can definitely upgrade the suspension on a trail master. Your research can’t have been too thorough. Trailmaster build quality is unmatched
Hi guys, was just sharing this vid with my mum. Now she wants a trip there😂 Can i ask what you use to record with apart from the drone? Your footage is awesome 👌
Haha thanks for sharing with your mum. I can see why she would it is an amazing place! We used a GoPro for most of the footage and a Sony a6300 for some of our b-roll
Great rig mate, I’m stuck between a rock and a hard place in deciding whether to go the petrol or diesel 30lt Prado. How does the petrol go for the long range tank in k’s?
Loved watching your video. Great info for future travellers. I was wondering how people wash the dishes while there. It was good to see you show the camp kitchen setup. Thanks for sharing your journey😊
Oh thanks so much ❤️. We aren't sure sometimes whether that type of stuff is interesting for people but we just try to show our set up and trips honestly as possible.
nice vid guys. inspiring to see you get out there and try new things. we have the best natural spaces here in WA so i’m keen to get out there more this year. stay safe in the water Waz 🤙🏻
Thank you!! ❤️ We're so lucky here in WA, so many amazing places on our doorstep and further afield. Get out there, you won't ever regret it.
Hi Guys, we were looking for a video from Perth to the red centre and came across yours. The rear windscreen was a pain so how did that happen? My wife said why doesn’t your partner speak ? So I said she may not want to or she could have a sore throat😂😂 But it’s always good to get a lady’s perspective on what’s going on especially when they are Scottish which is a lovely accent and she is better looking than you. 🥴🥴🧑🏻 Anyhow thanks for the video as you say you wouldn’t want to break down out there it’s just so remote. I know a lot of people have disappeared on that road and does that make it a bit spooky? Well thanks again and we hope M has taken something for her sore throat🤒🤒. Jon and Sue
Hi Jon and Sue, will you be travelling the Great Central Road anytime soon? It's an epic road trip, it's not spooky as such but you're definitely aware of the total remoteness which can sometimes be a little unnerving. The rear windscreen was a pain, we think a rock hit the trailer and bounced back onto the windscreen. It didn't hinder our adventure though and there was not a lot we could do about it out there anyway. Haha Em is still gaining confidence in front of the camera, she's much more comfortable these days but she much prefers to be behind the camera taking photos/videos and doing all of the editing. Thanks for tuning in and I hope your journey to the Red Centre is as incredible as ours was ☺️
Thanks for the comparison between this and the trailmaster. Got a few ads on fb from trailmaster which put this on my radar too. You're right about there not being much choice besides having to choose these 2 brands or custom build something which blows the price out of the water for what's essentially a box trailer What did you not like about the trailmaster? Just build quality? Any issues with dust ingress in the pod as that's my biggest concern tbh
We made the decision to go with the Stockman mainly due to the build quality which felt better than the Trailmaster. Also by buying Stockman we knew we were supporting an Australian company. Trailmaster seemed to copy some of the features and purchased the parts overseas. The dust ingress is extremely minimal tbh and we've pulled it across some really dusty roads.
I got one too and it’s been great. 2014 all roada with the smaller sloped lid though. Double Jerry, double gas, I put on a new axle with electronic braking, an isi 4 bike hitch off the front a frame, a massive rhino box on the a frame too. Just installed a 65L water tank underneath and plumbed. Rhino rack across the top. Spare mounted underneath. I put a 45KG 4x4 Altegra gazebo on the rack and a 290L Darche nemo water proof bag next to it, with all our sleeping bags and matts. I load this thing to the hilt and it just handles whatever. I’ve purposely avoided any electrical as I want a setup that can bounce around as hard as it wants and nothing can break. Pelican esky with a 10L ice brick gets me 5-6nights easy. Keep all gear packed and sealed in there full time on drivers with no water ingress. Best part is it’s a trailer so do about 5-6 standard trailer runs to get soil bark chip etc as lid opens fully up. I’ve also done about 5 x 1.7tonne loads and suspension has held up. They build these tough. Most versatile trailer if you don’t mind just setting up a free standing tent and gazebo. Spent about $8k all up cause done myself and got trailer for $3.4K. You’ll love it
Wow sounds like you've done so much to yours. They're such versatile units, aren't they? We've dragged ours around some pretty crazy places with no dramas at all. Two years later and we still love it!
These are great, but I’m pretty sure that’s not independent suspension, the Pods with independent suspension use the cruisemaster system with shocks and the cruisemaster doesn’t use leaf spring.
Em, I was like you with oysters, but tried them Kilpatrick and loved the flavour then progressed to natural, now consider cooking them sacrilege. The Pindan (sand) country is definitely a trap for young players! A spectacular bit of country, glad you enjoy it! Hope to see you back soon.
I will definitely keep trying Ivan, I want to like them!
Just stumbled upon your videos. What time of year did you travel
We crossed the Great Central Road at the end of September and travelled around the NT for 2 weeks in Sept/Oct before crossing the Nullarbor mid October
@thelittleadventurersAus thanks for the quick reply. We might truck our caravan up to The Alice. Not sure our onroad van will cope with the corrugations
@@StephLin_Stephen_Linda hmm yeah the corrugations can go for 10’s of km at a time. It would be slow going with an on road van. There’s plans to replace the gravel with bitumen so one day it could be a more comfortable/accessible trip
when you change to lithium you can't have it under the bonnet they don't like heat
