Another thing really to complain about the Majestic Elegance was the Club pools were freezing, i mean really really cold, i love to swim but not in cold water, how were the pools on this side?

We were at the Majestic Elegance in December 2023 and loved it very much, we were booked in the Club which provided us with the beds during the day, are the beds just included in the price of the Mirage, we are seriously thinking of trying this side next trip, we have spoken to many people that loved it especially the ones on the bus going back to the airport.

Just got back from Majestic Elegance. Absolutely horrendous.

Do u think they kept it separate and didnt connect it in case they wanted to make it another family section? I wondered the same thing when I was there

Thanks for filming this (and others)! We stayed at the Colonial our first few visits and it was great! A fun atmosphere for both adults and families. (We're seniors but enjoyed all the music, laughter and fun the families were having). It's vacation!!! We had ocean front rooms which were awesome. Could sit out on on the patio and watch all the weddings take place, plus they were steps from the beach. Very enjoyable, much like the other resorts. They all have their plusses and minuses. We've been to that chapel several times, and yes, it's open to all the resorts, just like the casino. We've stayed at the Mirage which is much quieter and probably more upscale with larger rooms (and you can't beat the 1 1/2 baths!), but the pools are nicer at the Colonial for sure. (Can't comment on the Elegance pool though as we haven't stayed there yet, but we want to try it next, once they've completed all their renovations. (It was closed the last time we were there.) You can walk around all the other resorts etc, even attend their shows if you missed a similar one at yours...They just won't serve you drinks or food. The entire Majestic resort complex is just fantastic, and the staff are A+, which is why we keep returning.

If you book Mirage can you participate in activities at Elegance? I don’t know if there are shared privileges? Can’t remember. Went to Elegance in 2014 and Colonial in 2015. I think I remember they were starting construction for Mirage thereabouts. From memory but can’t be 100% Enjoying your videos and wow yes the beach looks fantastic now!! I do remember it was fun at Elegance and at the time I don’t think it was anyone under 18. Labeled as adults only. I do know when my teen girls at the time (one was 19, the other 12) we were not allowed to upgrade:move over to Elegance because of the ages.

Wow the majestic mirage punta Cana is a gorgeous tropical palace, is definitely on my bucket list I can’t wait long enough to visit this beautiful resort!

The guy who helped with your bags, does his service make it quicker to get through customs.

We have only highest compliments about all the staff at Elegance! Melvin was our butler during last years stay. Great place to stay, hoping to return in March.

We were at Elegance in late March 2023, the big drop is gone and beach is larger. WOW!

I just got back on Thursday was in a two room suite next to the walking bridge 2nd floor. Was the best view. Great staff. That walk to the front lobby. Wow you can’t even see the end. Great resort no issues.

We only tried the Elegance. We only book the swim outs. Long story but the set up is perfect for someone in our group who has issues. Ive wanted to try the Mirage but worried that if I book a swim up there that we'd get an exterior facing one and that would absolutely not work for what we need. It's the only reason we haven't tried the Mirage

We've been to Elegance 4 times. Only once has it rained like this and it was kind of fun. Everyone hung out in the lobby and they set up a lunch/snack station for us.

I'm so jealous! We have to wait until Nov! And it will probably be our goodbye trip to the Elegance because it's priced itself out of our budget now. So jealous!!

You should mention that this is arrival at Terminal A, where you land on the tarmac and have to be bussed to the terminal. At Terminal B, there are actual jetways, not outside stuff to get to terminal.

Seen rain like that in Cuba and Florida. During stay at Elegance it never rained once.
