I agree with Clive on Snake in The Monkey's. It's not crap but I never loved it but it's probably because I was young and I judged it based on Snake in The Eagles Shadow. I'd need to watch it again for a more balanced view.

It was myth busted about the will being changed form 14th prince to 4th prince (it did not happen ) , but makes for great drama . Rodders was corect Lady Assassin was the same story. Another great version and probably more accurate is The Greatest plot. Regarding General Nien, Early in 1726, his crimes were enumerated under 92 heads, and Nian was sentenced to be executed. The Yongzheng Emperor granted him the privilege of committing suicide but his eldest son, Nian Fu (年富), was beheaded and his other sons were banished. I could go on. Looking forward to the next one.

Great episode guys! Chas Balun was amazing, "The Deep Red Horror Handbook" was a revelation for me, first time I'd seen a review of Cannibal Holocaust, glory days. The inbetween stage before the internet and after the video recordings act were strange, great days, I had to go to Camden Film Fair to get all sorts of nasties and crazy porn and it was so exciting discovering films I'd never heard of. I used to also go to a guys warehouse in Stoke Newington where I had to say a password he had given me to enter the place, every single film he had was like the forbidden fruit, he had everything from distributors like Alpha Blue Archives, great memories.

Clive, you should watch "Female Teacher: In Front of The Students" great pinku crazy Jap sex film.
