The greatest boss in Leeds Utd's history, born in Middlesbrough ⚽
Просмотров 32721 день назад
In May 2012, an 8ft tall, 30 stone Bronze statue of the greatest manager in Leeds Utd history was unveiled to the world. Commissioned by Barnsley based sculptor Graham Ibbeson, (whose work also includes similar statues of Dickie Bird, Fred Trueman and Eric Morecambe) the Don stood pride of place next to the Centenary Pavilion, opposite Elland Road’s East Stand, overlooking the car park.

Kenny Young is a name I remember from boro.
He was my cousin.
So you'll know where he spent the last ten years of his life.
@@Fulford-lh1qn he was my 2nd cousin. His mam was my nanas sister. I kmow know he killex those old 2 people.
@@thesanestdaysaremad Can't remember how we met him but there was a load of us hear in york who was following Leeds and also involved in the drug and rave scene and Kenny started hanging around with us, over the next several years we all got involved in certain things together and had some right laughs and made some money but his lifestyle sort of got out of hand with the drugs and he slowly moved on and sadly not for the better. I know the ending but prior to that he was a good friend. Thanks for the reply.
I've been home and away many many times with Leeds, and never experienced what you're saying. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I'm certain it does elsewhere. And what's your obsession with something that happened before you were born. Clough was no more ready for Leeds than they were for him. He took Derby to the 1st div title, but his employer there couldn't wait to see the back of him. Without Taylor at Leeds, it was never going to work

the pissing in a pint glass might have been a thing in the 80s with packed standing only stadiums but it's not a thing now. Been to plenty of away games and never seen this.
Got sunglasses on and it's cloudy as fck.....ya off ya face again .....smack heed
Clough needed to takeover an unsuccessful club and build them up. If he'd have taken over 5 years later Leeds would have been as successful as Forest.

@@Stephen-gp8yi aye...few o me pals AV found smart stuff around Ponte area .👍
I was first there in 1980, and it was brutal back then. I remember the Viking, and his crew, they used to kill people. He was big, but not huge by any means, not as big as Sykes, but he had a gang, and they were armed with truncheons.
frontline is known throughout the uk, it cures tick's on animals!

It was after the match.
I was there, it was tasty, the Zulus were very good, but it was know where near the biggest brawl…respect to Birmingham lads, they came and gave us a go at home which not many did!
I was only interested in the local ones ..there is no honour among criminals anymore even if there ever was...I reformed myself many years ago...To remove myself from them because they are not nice to each other and worse to the everyman...and that was me too....nice Easops fable ..same with the fox and the sour grapes ..as I have said before...pigs will be pigs. .pikes will eat pikes if you are a fisherman you will know this .To close .Oscar Wilde...each man kills the things he loves to all men let this be heard. As one do it with a kiss and others with a sword ..Goes double for the criminal frat club....❤ ...move on Jamie...I have..
No where near the worst scene of football at Boro. Much worse against Arsenal in the cup late 70's, and several times against Sunderland, Newcastle etc
Not saying it was the worse but those who were there will tell you it was toe to toe Boro and Birmingham were right at it as for Arsenal they just got annialated from arriving till going home at the station they was no fight left in them
Now this is gonna be a great channel
Sykes loved noncing disabled kids! Wasn't the fighter he thought he was!
very naughty up there 80,s....we always knew it was on, when leaving london.
Just had another look at that photo see the house's down the side that is the top of Kensy road 100% and the building is the old plumber's merchant supplies before it was central park
