Only one club milked munich for years= UNITED. They treated survivors like DIRTfor years..johnny berry kicked out of his house within1year of munich, jackie blanchflower within months & a pregnant wife too. albert scanlon ended up working 12 hour shifts as a security guard. harry gregg has said in many interviews about the disgraceful treatment after munich. very classyTheir coach Jimmy Murphy, Busby's right hand man, not even given a pension by thIS CLUB...

Yes it SHOULD have been the cup final Ipswich were the best team in the country (beat Aston Villa three times that year now given bigger squads and time gaps they would have won the treble (like Leeds would have in 1970) Also for some strange reason England chose between Mariner and Francis Quite ridiculous They would have complimented each other perfectly as the two best Strikers around Great game and I remember it well! Fair result too!

The referee telling to Jimmy McInnes "Liverpool will never win this match, this match has been fixed" and then Jimmy McInnes committing suicide by hanging himself, and the fact that years later it was proven that the same referee had committed match-fixing. Why don't you ever mention these?

Loved Shanks, literally cried when he went round the pitch on his retirement. Liverpool have had some great managers over the years, but it all started with the best one, who set the course, the grit and determination. Shanks was responsible for the now famous “This is Anfield” sign, so his players remembered who they had the honour of playing for, and too intimidate the opponents about who they were playing. As a sports motivator and psychologist he had no equal.

I'm a Manchester City fan and I really can't understand the awful songs and chants SOME people still sing and say. Rivalry, fine, death mocking, ABSOLUTELY NOT! It's disgusting. The ones who do this should watch this. Frank Swift was killed. Played for City. Sir Matt Busby was badly injured but thankfully survived. Played for City and Liverpool. STOP THE CHANTS AND SONGS! That goes for Hillsborough as well. NONE of it is funny 😡

My dad was born in manchester in the 30s, though he came over here to ireland with my grandparents in 1952 . All my manchester family are United fans . I remember dad telling me about his cousin who stood in the crowd when the decesed babes came home and were laid to rest . He told me the crowd was full of city and united fans united in grief . Sir Matt Busby was a former city player too .

No doubt that ENGLAND could have won the 1958 World Cup had Tommy Taylor and Duncan Edwards lived. Taylor had scored 8 goals in the 4 qualifying games and Edwards easily dominated all defenders. Even without them England were the only team who took points off the eventual Champions Brazil at the tournament. What might have been.
