Supplier to Gas Utility and Transmission Pipelines
Started in 2009 Stanton Sales & Service is the area representative for the Tube Turns Division of Sypris Technologies providing pipeline closures, monolithic insulated joints, and anchor flanges to the oil & gas and water pipeline industry.
In 1956 Tube Turns formed the Engineered Products Division (EP) and started the closure manufacturing business by introducing its yoke style closure. The company introduced the T-bolt closure in 1961 and monolithic insulated joints in 1962. The Company's bi-metallic transition joint, introduced in the 1960s, is a specialty flange that enables our customers to connect carbon steel pipes to aluminum pipes at Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facilities worldwide. All of these products remain in production today.

What is a Monolithic Insulated Joint and why are they needed in water pipelines?
Monolithic insulated Joints are also known as "MIJs" are prefabricated Unions of butt-weld forged carbon steel construction that connect two ends of a pipe preventing metal-to-metal contact across the joint; so they increase pipeline resistivity, and this helps to mitigate corrosion by allowing electrical charges picked-up by the pipeline to travel only so far.

Hi, What is the maximum operating temperature of these closures? Can these Closures be used for retort ovens up to temperature of 650 DegC?
Do you need to apply some sort of grease to the seal ?
Which type of qoc is this one? Seg4lock or band lock
Neither. It's a Sypris Tool-less closure.
Any flow direction for IJ installation???
No either flow direction is fine
There should be a place on the hinge to stow the handle and safety lock. Or lanyards. Other wise the operator will loose it.
