You miss the point, buddha uses Sanskritam in his literature it is not seperate from that same vak bhasyapada ekpada bhoda of virat as described in purusha suktam. My understanding - Osho did not need to learn Vipassana for himself, he had already reached where he needed to reach in his twenties. Osho was trying to create/recreate many meditation/breathing practices for those coming to him from various backgrounds, including those with repressions. That’s why he became interested in Vipassana and found bhastrika type breathing to be one of the tools which can help those coming to him. Osho had much to do and time was short for the things he wanted to do/teach. My humble respects to the two big teachers - Goenka ji and Osho ji!🙏🏼

Thankyou for sharing . Reading and practicing dhamma helped me to be a better person with my body speech and mind . And practicing Vipassana helped me to get in touch with the knower . I later took a refuge with Buddha dharma. But I highly suggest that whether you're of any religious belief, dhamma and Vipassana is universal . But it doesn't even matter , as whatever brings us close to our true pure nature /knower ! 🙏

What I have just said is a metaphor where the individual (you and me) are sitting on our cushions, listening to a talk, or affirming our presence in the "now" as if it were a piece of real estate one could purchase for the price of a book. All the while, Rome, in the form of our socioeconomic, geopolitical, and ecosystem, is at varying stages of burning down. We are the field, and as proof, can you separate yourself from your computer, the store-bought food you eat, the air you breathe, the clothing you wear, the language you speak, and your cell phone? What nonsense! Read Yogsutras before you speak. Vipassana and Pranayam are totally different. There are many Brahmavidyas associated with Pranayam. However Vipassana is independent breathing exercise.
