when a teacher taking fun about another teacher- you lost the value of teaching ! or being a teacher that’s my humble thoughts!

He is of course telling a made up story. Is there a verifiable record from K's side that he approved Goenka's method? He says no technique, no technique....wonderful..and when you attend his 10 days vipassana retreat you will find that the word "technique" used 100s of times. And on the very first day you are even asked to surrender to the technique without any doubt or question. I am sure K would have blasted on him like anything.

SN Goenka always says that he is the best and he criticizes every enlightened masters. He criticizes everyone Osho, Krisnamurty, Vedanta and everyone who teaches meditations. Speaking without facts.

I want to give clarification regarding Vipasana is free and Sudarshan Kriya is paid. Art of Living works in a very structured way, and get registered first to join the course. Suppose in Chandigarh Basic Happiness course donation is 2000/- (and u can repeat this program during ur life time without any donation thereafter. Also weekly follow ups are free). Sh. SN Goneka ji formula is that first participant spent 10days of meditation and then after 10 days when one is in emotional state then u ask him or not, u explain them ur sewa projects “See we don’t charge money but if u want to pay u can pay” then during this emotional state people pay 5 to 10 times. But it’s not correct way by taking donation when the person is in emotional state. So it’s very unfortunate to listen the words of Sh Goneka which are full of arrogance and jealous. Art of living course are very much effective and full of grace. We don’t criticize anyone like this.

SN Goenka ji is the greatest teacher ever lived in modern India, no one can come close to his stature and teaching level. He taught real technique to millions and it is working beautifully. We are indebted to him.

S.N Goenka is talking british fed nonsense of untouchability. There was no such thing on majority level leaving few exceptions. Buddha's philosophy is ok at individual level, its self-destructive at national level. Its true buddha teaching is nothing new, what buddha taught is practised by Lord Shiva, so Buddha doesn't discovered anything new. Even in 10 days course of Vipasana S.N Goenka says that buddha re-discovered the lost meditation technique of Bharat. Who created this meditation technique ? Lord Shiva and Lord Krishna. At last Buddhism is no religion, Buddha created a sangh not religion as religion cannot be created. Buddha follower created Buddhism not buddha himself so those following Buddhism are fooling themselves.

Two close friends of mine who have been serious Buddhist meditators for 4 decades now, practiced directly with SN Goenka (in India) & at the time told him they where off to see Krishnamurti speak publicly after a Goenka course. Goenka told them that if they went to see Krishnamurti they could not continue in his tradition. So they left Goenka's tradition and went to see Krishnamurti. So I'm somewhat skeptical of this exerpt. I also practiced in the Goenka tradition for 19 years & have closely read & followed Krishnamurti's teachings for years - the two traditions do not align. Krishnamurti was staunchly against using any kind of system of inquiry and rejected the fundamental notion of institutional traditions - these views are at complete odds with the Goenka tradition. Finally, Goenka claims that Krishnamurti met with him privately on two occasions and came to the conclusion that Goenka wasn't teaching a technique (body scanning, sweep en masse?) but observating only, "the truth". Yet, Krishnamurti never spoke of nor acknowledged this meeting. Which is not to say such a private meeting did not occur - but we only have a one sided account of the conversation. And no independent record that Krishnamurti supported the Goenka tradition. It may be on interst to some to watch this discussion between Buddhost Scholars & Krishnamurti (BTW I am both a Buddhist PhD student and long time Buddhist practitioner. Whilst I enjoy listening to K immensely - I have only found progress through Buddhist approaches. Also, whether he agreed with Vipassana or not there is no proof of that. Sir, how can S.N. Goenka be an applied Krishnamurthy? J.K. presented the idea of non duality whereas in Vipassna there is a watcher of thoughts, sensations and feelings. Vipassana might be helpful but it's contradictory of J.K. teachings. As he stated Truth is a pathless land. With Vipassana, one might see things clearly but the dissipation of ego is not possible because there is always a doer/ observer observing breath and sensations. Also, Vipassana reinstates the false statement via its practice that there is 'me' and there is 'thought' whereas they are single movement.

You miss the point, buddha uses Sanskritam in his literature it is not seperate from that same vak bhasyapada ekpada bhoda of virat as described in purusha suktam. Sanskritam was given from sadashiva himself revitalized by panini rishi. budh is made of some of those 52 Sanskritam syllables and budh son of chandra navagraha was named this long before gautam sidharth came as dasa avathara to revive the luminescence of bhudh or sukhabodhi, you only add ism to budh as bhudhism. When ism English can be a doltish obsession i understand your cocauphony.

You can tell a lot about a "Guru" from the devotees they keep. And a good "Guru" does not "keep" their devotees sitting at their feet sucking up their ass and mindlessly worshipping them.

Buddhism is older than Hinduism. Before buddhism, local and vedic religions were practiced and they were very different than modern hinduism.

This Mr. Goenka is a man of shallow understanding. He has to be born again to understand j. Krishnamurti. Such dull people cannot understand the depth and height of Krishna ji. Try next life .

My understanding - Osho did not need to learn Vipassana for himself, he had already reached where he needed to reach in his twenties. Osho was trying to create/recreate many meditation/breathing practices for those coming to him from various backgrounds, including those with repressions. That’s why he became interested in Vipassana and found bhastrika type breathing to be one of the tools which can help those coming to him. Osho had much to do and time was short for the things he wanted to do/teach. My humble respects to the two big teachers - Goenka ji and Osho ji!🙏🏼
