Purified water is healthier than Distilled water. Your body needs minerals to retain the water. Otherwise, parang faucet lang katawan sa distilled water. The most important parameters sa Quality of Water are BOD, COD, PH and TSS. The TDS value in both faucet and filtered are acceptable pa naman.

Your Dr. Kurin TDS findings is exactly within spec and where it needs to be. Did you know in most contries, bottled water must contain at least 250 mg/l TDS to be labeled as mineral water? Your Dr. Kurin readings are higher because it is simply adding a mineral substance. Nothing wrong with that. FYI, TDS meters do not test for water quality, contaminants and pesticides. TDS stands for total disolve solids. Minerals disolved in water. Minerals are actually good for you. The bad thing about too much minerals is that they make your water "hard". Things like microorganisms, lead, mercury, motor oil, etc. do not dissolve in water so it cannot be read by a TDS meter. If you want an idea on your actual tap water quality, find your city's website and look at reports. Compare those reports to those of the DOH Dr. Kurin reports. According to DOH, there is no standard for purified and mineralized water. Most water station purifiers add back healthy minerals after purifying the water. These can only be certified under Safe drinking water and not Purified drinking water. Again, TDS meters do not test for water quality. There is way too much misinformation about TDS meters.
