Hoverboard motor operates on 36v , power is 350 watt 800rpm . I disassemble motor for measurement stator slots is 27 and magnets pole is 30. stator dia is 105mm and length is 28mm . Satator slots winding is 13 turn each slot of 5 parallel wires , star connection of winding . neodymium magnets size is 30×11×3 mm . magnets are very powerful .

I convert brushless 4250 650kv motor to 1300kv with rewind it and test thrust on weight scale . At 12 volt and 15 inch propeller the thrust is 2700gram = 2.7kg . Motor can operate 24 volt 6s lipo battery , At 6s test thrust can be 4 kg . I test motor 60 amp esc electronic speed controller . To run motor in 6s battery 120 amp esc required.

I rewind brushless 4250 650kv motors . original winding is 6 turns , rewind it to 3 turns , so it convert to 1300 kv motor. kv means rpm/volt , means 1 volt = 1300 rpm when we change winding for double kv rating then current of motor willnot double it will be square root , means I² so power of motor will also increase.

I make brushless dc motor from 220 volts ac 1hp induction motor . First remove stator winding , tool on rotor to decrease diameter for size to fix the magnets . Then make new winding for brushless motor for 24 slots winding pattern is ABC (ABC×8=24). Fix neodymium magnets with epoxy resin on rotor . rotor is 16 poles , i use 2 magnets for 1 pole , total 32 magnets . Motor will operate at 48 vol...

I use sipmle supply charger to charge prius battery cell , these cells are nimh types fully charge voltages of cell is 1.4 to 1.5 volts . appropriate charger or supply can be use . For more automatic charge control circuit board can be use , it will cut supply when cell is fully charged. laptop charger supply can also be use.

Silicone sealant is used for waterproofing electrnic parts. I use lacquer but not working than silicone coat apply on electronic speed controller so result is complete waterproof the part . Many other methods to waterproofing like conformal coating , epoxy glue , hot glue etc .

Brushless 2212 motor its kv rating is 1000kv , used in different projects . we test thrust on variou voltages . its operate with esc electronic speed controller . usually its designed for 3s or 4s lithium cells which is approximately 12 and 16 volts . wheight scale is use for motor thrust calculation. Its homemade easy and cheap way to build drill press machine . grind iron rod , linear bearing , car disk and lead screw is parts to build machine Machine result is percision and it can drill 90° hole. It can drill in hard materials like iron easily.

hello. Is there any difference between winding 2 teeth close together and compared to 4 teeth symmetrically ? For example in the video you winding number 1 and number 2 , but what if I winding teeth number 1 4 7 10 and winding all in same direction?

first read about batteries , bldc motor and esc then u can understand diff type of battery has different discharge current capacity like if use lipo it is 35c 2000mah it can dilever current( 2amp×35c)=70amp current but battery will end capacity 35time quickly lead acid batteries has 5c discharge rate i use lifepo4 cell 30c discharge capacity and capacity is 2.5amp
The spaces between magnets on the rotor are they not affecting the rotation of the motor speed

Put some Rotorblades on it, connect it to a Voltage Regulator and you have a lil Wind Energy Converter🤔
for generator winding will have to change. More turn of winding for each slot for low rpm high volt output
Really strong, it's a little hard to find on hoverboards. Most come with 200mm or 250mm Im using with the ffbeast project, a diy project that uses brushless motors for sim racing or joystick, with that provide a force feedback.

Have you considered angling the magnets on the rotor? I wonder how it would affect the motor. I have zero clue is why I asked. Would it help or hurt this bldc? I guess hurt, but i honestly do not know and have no insight.
if stator slot will be an angle then magnet will be the same angle. otherwise rotor rotation will be effected by stator magnetized by controller.

kv is not kilo volt in brushless motor its means rpm/volt if i supply 12 volt then rpm of 1000kv motor will be 12000 rpm
