Yes you can repent after you die but Jesus says that you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.
@@nowaynotthatway3487 No. please read the whole chapter for proper context. You’re over-spiritualizing the text. That portion of the text had everything to do with making peace with others.
@@emmanuelvinson5387 yes and you can make peace with others even after you die. Look at Jesus. When he died he descended into hell and preached to them in hell who should have believed long ago and then they believed him and they rose with him and many people saw them for they were their relatives.
The answer is no. Neither can you follow a heretical religious system and go to heaven, being a willing participant in sinfulness. Mormonism is not Christianity.
Right no evidence of the moronic claims made about North America
Oh yes, we are, we believe in: God the Father and in His Son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost!!!!!!!
We also: Claim the privilege to worship according to the dictates of our conscience, and allow all men the same,.let them worship, how where or what they may. It's called FREEDOM OF RELIGION!!!!!!
@@jeanleatham2080 you’re free to do that under man’s law. However, whatever you decide have eternal consequences. God’s law is not subjective to our opinion.
@@jeanleatham2080 Demons do as well and tremble. Belief and faith is demonstrated in obedience and is reflected in the fruits of the Holy Spirit. You can be a nice and kind person all day, but denying the testimony of the true and faithful witness by following the doctrine of demons and seducing spirits you are in fact self-deceived. Galatians 1:6-10 states: 6 marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
Powerful Word thanks again for a great Study!

Another great one !
Thank you!
Yes! I have felt exactly this way for 20 years! Think of all the other “antis” in the BoM: Antipus, Ani-Anti, Antionum, Antiomno, Antiparah, among others! It is clearly a transliteration. Additionally, what are the chances that Joseph Smith-who KNEW that the prefix “-anti” meant “opposed to”- would use such a prefix to describe a group of converts who clearly were FOR their righteous fathers? Talk about inviting an attack! It would have been an obvious error, and would NOT have been done this way. As it is it is, “-anti” is remarkably consistently used as a transliterated name throughout the entire book, EXCEPT when it is used in the word “antichrist,” which was a word Joseph knew! Very well done!
I just found you!!! Thank you for your insights! Would love to see your faces at some point.
@korinemiller5426 glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comment! Faces for radio, if you know what I mean.
An "antichrist" is against Christ but it has also been understood to mean someone who pretends to be Christ but is not Christ. So I think a possible interpretation is to read anti in this sense, such that anti-nephi-lehi means (not-nephi)-Lehites, or in other words: Lehites (people from Lehi) who are not from Nephi. It also fits with the context, where the people no longer wanted to be called Lamanites, with the logical response then to say we are Lehites but not Nephites.
I think they called themselves the Anti-Nephi-Lehi before they were converted and the translation of the book was referring to a group of people that were so Anti before their conversion but now were obviously the opposite of Anti. I think the author was using a harsh reality of how much they had changed calling themselves Anti before their conversion and now basically gave everything to reverse their position of being Anti that we can do the same thing in our own lives. Example, I called myself an atheist before I was converted and now the atheist I called myself is a believer in God and he called myself an atheist.
Great work thank you !
We never ever under any circumstances either ever should pay for other people's unknowlegement of what they need to say at all under any circumstances either ever anyway anyhow anytime after all! That's never ever under any circumstances either ever our job nor our responsibility at all under any circumstances either ever anyway anyhow anytime after all! They have to pay for that one 🕐🕜 for themselves and by themselves from now on!❤😂🎉😅😊! 7/16/24! 9:49am! 10:34
Wonderful love it thank you much !
Awesome Content and lessons !
Even if Jacob's messages went unheated, it does not imply that they were ineffective, the reality would be that the people simply were unwilling to listen to, or adhere to the gospel messages. 👍
Great point. It reminds me of Aaron's preaching that many Lamanites only responded to after much loss and affliction (Alma 25:6).

Thanks for supporting Aaron, it was a surprise to me also to hear that there was criticism toward Aaron. When I was reading about Aaron's teachings to the overking, I had the thought that he and Ammon were actually teaching the same things that we learn in the Temple, the plan of salvation and the role of Jesus Christ as our Savior.
It has never entered my mind to ever criticize Aaron, nevertheless I am happy to learn about his mission in a new context. Thankyou for this video.
You are welcome. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
Great Video ! Yep follow the Spirit of God always thanks for sharing another one !
Thanks so much!
I've never heard a criticism Aaron
Glad to hear it. He certainly doesn't deserve it. We heard it in most of the podcasts this week so we wanted to provide a different perspective for those that had heard criticism.
Me neither
So happy to hear this. I was a bit disturbed by some of the speculation about Aaron
@lularoetracieandkimmirose3157 thanks so much. We are glad it was helpful.
Awesome lesson !
Abish has Heavenly Father's name in her name.... given that she's an inheritor of Abinadi's legacy and is pivital to the conversion of the Lamenites... could it be that the Father referred to is or maybe could be perhaps... not her Lamenite father... but Her Father In Heaven? Because without Abish... we wouldn't have the Book of mormon... she's in line... and Heavenly Father wanted us to know her name... because His name .... cried out by the Saviour Himself... is in her name... :) just saying
Great comment. Both Scripture Insights and Knowhy #127 describe the possibility (certainly not definitively) that Abish saw Heavenly Father. We weren't planning to bring this up, but maybe we'll think and study about it more and put out our thoughts too. Thanks for bringing it up.
Great Content and lesson correct small acts can make tremendous impacts on people’s lives !

After hearing about Alma being Spat upon it saddened & disgusted me. The wicked people & their killings sickens me,also.Am grateful to have the time now to study more in depth. Being a convert ,I received much direction from the H.G. To fulfill my larger than self Callings❤. Living in the Eastern area of the states- the mission field not far from the Sacred grove, was a beautiful gift. However it is a huge undertaking now to learn all I need to study! Ty for your assistance!💪
Thank you for your comments. Loved what you said about callings: "larger than self".
I love the long term perspective brought up about the wicked people and how they were just about to do really bad things. Far too often do I forget the long term perspective and judge too harshly in the moment. Thank you for this refresher.
What a wonderful place to start.
Great content, keep it up! 🔥
we all fall short of the glory of god Amen✝️
Very fun, thank you!
I loved the part about journaling. How traumatic that must have been. I read in a book recently that Journaling is where girls learned who they were and who they wanted to become. They could think things through and put it on paper. The book mentioned how journaling isn’t very prevalent these days and so now girls are learned who they want to become by turning to social media. 😢 Thank you for sharing your experiences.
