As your daughter is in France for her master's(Student), she’s likely eligible. You can check eligibility and apply via the Ameli.fr website or the Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie (CPAM). If your college is in La Défense, staying nearby in areas like Courbevoie, Nanterre, or even Asnières-sur-Seine could be perfect-well-connected, slightly cheaper than central Paris, and close enough to the metro. Avoid going too far east; the commute will drive you more stressed than the rent. For accommodation without a guarantor, try Studapart, Erasmus Play, or Spotahome. Some private landlords on Le Bon Coin might also accept deposits instead of guarantors, but you’ll need your negotiation hat on! And if stress continues knocking on your door, take a deep breath and comment back here. Trust me, we’ve all been there, and we can survive it together. If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, it could be the place for you. Toulouse, on the other hand, has a more relaxed vibe. It’s student-friendly, so the cost of living is more manageable. And honestly, I didn’t feel much of a language barrier here because the city has such a big student crowd from all over. There are opportunities for part-time work too, but you need to be smart and proactive about finding them. At the end of the day, it really depends on your priorities-whether you value peace and work-life balance or you’re chasing big opportunities in a bustling city like Paris. Hey Karthik! It’s a great choice. Biggest hurdle is the language. If you can crack that, it’s full of opportunities. Even basic French is good here. School syllabus is chill, amazingly great health care system. Economy is one of the most stable rn. All in all it’s good here.

No. I avoided high competition with lesser opportunities countries. France and NL seemed best at the moment. Yes, we gota learn language. But we at least know the threat and we can work on it rather than shooting aimlessly. 😷
