Is It Unchristian to Walk Away? Knowing your value while serving others
When serving others we can be met with challenges and difficulties, including not being appreciated, not wanted, or feeling like our God-given talents are not being utilised.
Is it unloving to walk away in these situations? Today we will go through Biblical examples from the life of Jesus to see what example Jesus gave in his ministry and how he knew when to stay and when to go. We talk about how Jesus modelled different depths of ministry to different individuals, and never lost sight of who He was and His Holy Purpose.

Sanctification is not a PROCESS but a done deal at the time of salvation, this is why the scriptures tell us that WE ARE SANCTIFIED, please study your bible better!; 1Corinthians 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that ARE SANCTIFIED in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Act 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which ARE SANCTIFIED. Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that ARE SANCTIFIED by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: Act 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which ARE SANCTIFIED by faith that is in me. Hebrews 2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who ARE SANCTIFIED are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, 1Corinthians 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye ARE SANCTIFIED but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. Hebrews 10:10 10 By the which will we ARE SANCTIFIED through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:14 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that ARE SANCTIFIED.

How does a person base his salvation on books that : 1- have been clearly changed throughout History 2 - authors are unknown historically Both these 2 facts are unanimously agreed by bilblical scholars. Different christian denominations haven't even the same number of books in their Bible. So again my question : how a person can base his salvation on such books. This is the most stupid thing ever, with all due respect. Jesus didn't even speak Greek for God's sake. (The earliest manuscripts ever found of the new testament are in Greek. No manuscripts are ever found in Aramaic, the language spoken by Jesus Christ. Again, this fact is unanimously agreed between biblical scholars)

Hi John! Thanks so much for your comment. Its obvious that you've looked into this which shows that there's some part which is searching and trying to find the truth. I want to say thank you for asking questions and reaching out. I hope this helps to clear some things up for you: 1. The bible is actually one of the most accurate books in history. There are multiple copies of every scroll, written hundreds of years apart, with very minimal changes. This is more than we have for other historical scientific scrolls that we take as fact today. When there is discrepancies, our bibles actually put that in the bottom as a footnote, giving you both versions of the scrolls. The discrepancies are minimal, and the scrolls are 99% identical to each other. www.thecollegechurch.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/HANDOUTS-Is-Scripture-Reliable.pdf I am not sure where you have researched about it being unanimous that the bible has been changed, but as far as we know the Bible has always been the same and remained unchanged despite many attempts to destroy it (google the dead sea scrolls and how they were found after missing for thousands of years and yet they still matched the scrolls we had at the time - incredible stuff!) 2. The authors are actually known and identified, and the geneologies that have been stated in the Bible match historical records that we have. The amazing part is that the Bible actually tells us about archeological facts that get found out years later. For example, in the book of Luke it named a city. Archeologists and Scholars wanted to discredit the book of Luke as there was no record of that city existing. They have now recently discovered the city in the past few years, which just further solidifies that the Bible is based on true historical facts, places and events. In addition to this, there is historical evidence that Jesus was a real person and actually existed, as he has been documented and recorded in non-Christian historical documents. Whether or not you believe he is who he said he is is up to your faith, but the evidence shows he did exist. Greek was a regional language due to the power of the Greek empire prior to the Roman empire taking over. When you look at historical maps of the Greek empire, it spread hugely throughout the region prior to the Roman empire taking over and everyone in that region spoke Greek. This was the reason why it was chosen as the language for the New Testament to be written in, as it increased the amount of people who could read and understand the scriptures. The New Testament was written by people who lived in the time of Jesus and walked with him, or interviewed (in the case of Luke) people who knew him. The other books you have mentioned have been left out of the Bible on purpose -- they were not able to be verified as being authentic and were written hundreds of years after Jesus. I am only aware of the Catholic bible holding two other books that are not included in the standard Bible. These books were not included in the standard bible due to them not being able to be authenticated. This should solidify for us that the books that are in the Bible have been checked and supported with evidence to be true and authentic. The Bible talks directly about what you're feeling right now, and says : "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ." Romans 10:17. I too was like you prior to being saved and thought that without evidence of God, I could not possibly believe. It was not until I had an encounter with God's presence and received understanding that the words in these pages spoke right into my heart what I was thinking and feeling, that it all clicked into place for me. I pray that if you are on this journey too of seeking to understand that you will eventually find the truth. It might take a while, or it might happen overnight. But if you keep an open heart and an open mind I know God can work through that and show himself to you that He is real and He loves you. God bless <3

@@seekingtruthcollective Thank you for your response, but you're missing the point. If there is a true religion, the holy scriptures of this religion have to satisfy 3 conditions : 1 - it has to be found in one absolute version agreed upon most of the scholars of this religion. The New Testament ? Many versions 2 - it has to be in the original language in which it was revealed. The New Testament ? It is not written in Aramaic, the language of Jesus. 3 -it must have only one clear origin, which should be the messenger sent by God with these scriptures. The New Testament ? It doesn't dates back to the lifetime of Jesus, as simple as that. And you should verify your informations, how can you say that people who lived and walked with Jesus are the ones who wrote the new testament, come on, you know this is not true, the earliest manuscripts date to around 100 AD, and it doesn't even contain the whole new testament, it is only one fragment with the size of a credit card ! I suggest you check that : en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rylands_Library_Papyrus_P52 And the first complete manuscripts date back to centuries after Jesus... In the link you put in your response, it is mentioned that the New Testament is written in 50-100 AD. So you already admitted that this is not in the lifetime of Jesus, and I challenge you to show me just one COMPLETE New Testament copy from that period. So sorry, for me Christianity can't be the true religion of God. I will continue my research, but I already discarded Christianity. I am looking now into Islam, and I am likening it, and their scriptures appear to satisfy the 3 conditions mentioned above, with solid historical evidence. And in Islam they believe that Jesus was a Prophet of God, which make way more sense for me... Anyway Thank you again for your response, and may God guide us to the right path.

I truly believe that the Good News is shared in so many different ways, and this series aims to answer some specific questions that people might be getting stuck on in their journey to discovering Christ. The Gospel is all about God's love for us and the message of Jesus and this episode discusses both of those things <3 God is truly in and amongst everything we do, think and say. God bless !

@@seekingtruthcollective - Hello! The Bible defines the gospel in 1 Corinthians 15:3-5. If our sin and sinfulness is not highlighted, therefore it is not the gospel spoke about in The Bible. Unfortunately, it is another gospel. ✌️❤️
