Heaven and Hell was my introduction to Black Sabbath and itll always be special to me. I was 15 and that album just blew me away.
My sister worked for Feline Productions when this tour came to Colorado Springs. She couldn't talk about it till after, but they dressed her up like a chauffeur. She picked the band up at the airport. They drove around all day, hitting the pawn shops and music stores. Said they were perfect gentlemen and treated her great. Lucky break. I did get to go and it was crazy.

I was 16 and just started driving a 74 camaro and went to my first ever midnight movie. And it was this black and blue. It was one big party broke and carring beer and liquor in in our boot not to mention the weed. It was great back then

I absolutely love Dio Sabbath.
First time i saw this was at midnight showing with. My nephew we went by cab man it was cool anyway tbe first time i saw DIO i thpught dang they went n really got a warlock man DIO looked scary as crap n badass . Man I loved when he did Iron Man n N.I.B. bad to the bone I still thought blizzard of Ozz was better but this was a close second now we had two badass bands great times . Then they split up n i saw DIO live n i was like alright man what a tine to be alive ty for posting n rip Dio God bless us all

I love this show and I love Vinny Appice but it just doesn't feel right without Bill Ward on Drums
Oh God, Im 50 years old and Bill was in the band when i was only 10, Thank the Lord for Vinny who replaced Bill at such a young age and became part of Heaven and Hell Tour, Mob Rules Tour, Dio (Band) and even at the end with "Heaven and Hell" AKA..Sabbath-Dio-Sabbath🤘
I don’t know about being seasick, you would get airsick in those beds, they are so high. Presumably you have to be properly “tucked in” like a little kid so as not to fall out?
12 million is huge, one can get a very decent monohull for that money.
Monohull? this boat would leave everything but a maxi trimaran in the dust while in confort there's no sailboat that combines this level of speed with this level of luxury and space.

Vinny Appice was only 22 years old here - relatively unknown and drafted in mid-tour only a few weeks before this show after the untimely departure of Bill Ward. He, ladies and gentlemen, was the hero of the day - and he still is!!!

Probably not a large market for $12 000 000 custom-built high-performance sailing catamarans... At this price range buyers tend to look for top comfort, not sailing performance.
I completely agree. If I hit the lottery and was in the market for a $10m+ yacht (and a sailing catamaran is what I’d love to have) the things I’d want most would be luxury, roominess, views from the interior, good headroom below, auto-furling sails (as much automation as possible-I don’t want to have a professional crew on board all the time). If I was younger and money was no object I would have two (at least) yachts-a racing boat and a luxurious cruising boat. This is cool, but not my cup of tea.

I went to this concert, I was so pissed that I didn't have tickets but one of my friends told me that the dude that he was going with couldn't go... poor bastard.
Cool, 'saw them ourselves that same tour a few months earlier at Rockford Speedway, Rockford, IL., however you saw them without original Drummer Bill Ward, who left in the middle of that particular tour because of personal issues, nevertheless his replacement Vinny Appice was no slouch and is a great Drummer in his own right.
