In the boat I will fish an entire run out along the rocks walls but land based typically the last of the run in / out and then when it starts getting too hard to fish when it starts moving the other way typically i find the jew usually start feeding better when it pushes harder then slack water

The big flathead are over the legal size of 70cm and I can pretty much get a feed of fish whenever it suits so I have no need to keep fish.

Hey mate I use a number 6-8 ball sinker swivel and roughly 70cm of leader to a double snell

Hi Dave I am running a 445 makocraft commander pro (4.75m) 60 hp merc tiller steer have taken it 30ks offshore before in this video we would have been maybe 5ks from the bar fishing 25-40mtr

Usually a 5-6/0 mustad big gun but anything heavy duty of equivalent size or brand will work

I know you mentioned about going up to 80lbs and 60" inch shaft, but has it been reliable? also do you think there is a much reliable brand out there with spot lock, i mean minnkota spot locks are a whoping 5k, and my concern is reliability for money, that sure is alot of cash...Cheers.

Honestly I’ve caught jew to that size on the set up used in the video but it feels super sketchy. I typically use a atomic arrowz 10-25lb spin rod and a 5k stradic with 20lb braid for larger estuary fish

Thanks for the feed back and glad it helped. It usually says on the back of the packets what size treble they use but on the 95mm lures I run a size 8 st36 which is what is on them out of the packet. Theres plenty of blue swimmers to sort out in the bottom end haven’t heard of any muddys to speak off anywhere

The one in the thumbnail is a 2” prawn matched up with a 1/4 ounce 1/0 tt jighead john also offers a 3” and 4” prawn

@@endlessfishingpursuit9585 The make, thrust .has it spot lock, running hrs on battery. do you use the same battery thats hooked up to your outboard. Does it hold you on a outgoing tide near the mouth- would you buy the same brand again. would you go for remote over foot pedal, and anything else you learn't or other features you like or would want .cheers.
