Those turbines are one of my favorite steam locomotives. I don’t have one. But it’s on my bucket list. Unfortunately I have too many hobbies. lol. 😆 🚂

@ I had many hobbies in the past. I had to toss them all and focus on model trains. Had to pick one, not enough cash for multiple. 🤪🤪

@@piotrstanek1074 the CN engine was a Trainz.com purchase and the covered hoppers are all Menards.com purchases. The engine is a Williams GP9 used conventional but looked new.

Cool and Thank You. I actually swore off steam era trains, but rethought that decision and decided that post war was going to be the steam era engines I purchase. There is just something about a 70 year old Lionel Engine.

@RABSTRAINS look at my past videos of railsounds boxcars with steam sounds. I use them with all my postwar steam engines, it helps.

OUTSTANDING! There is just something about post war that says model trains. Maybe its because I am 60 years old and things from the past are nostalgic to me. They were just built so strong and with quality back in the day.👍🙏 That’s so cool you have trains from when your parents were young. Keep them for sure🙏

@ I’m 57 and have been HO scale since I was young. Mom would set up the Lionel trains under the tree each year so that’s what struck my interest in model trains. I got an HO set as a Christmas gift and started with that. My parents have both passed and I finally got the Lionel trains out of the storage box and started the process of repairing and running them again.

@ so cool and the memories they must bring back . I had HO and N. I selected O roughly two years ago because it was the first model train set I got back in the 1970’s. I believe an MPC era 027 set which is long gone.

Yes. Menards.Com Most times the store won’t have what you want anyway. I have ordered a lot on line and had them send to my local store for pick up. In your case, just order on line and have it sent to your home. The shipping will cost you. I like the box cars from RMT (Ready Made Trains) but haven’t checked out their Ore Cars. RMT in my opinion is a few steps up from some of Menards rolling stock, but RMT doesn’t have as wide of a selection. Thank You for watching and commenting, very appreciated 👍❤️🙏🔥💪🇺🇸

Absolutely! I do it for fun. Just love running the trains but also like giving content to others to watch and enjoy. I don’t edit or add fancy intros and graphics so its basically raw as it happens. Like you are standing with me in my basement!👍🙏❤️🔥💪🇺🇸

For Sure! I have decided to focus on conventional for now. Just way too many options for me to focus on so I have to limit my focus. If I were a millionaire then the sky’s the limit, but not I.

@@RABSTRAINS A millionaire I am not either hehe. I actually decided against a Lionel Legacy engine in favor of a less expensive Walthers HO Scale F7 DCC Locomotive and I now run my HO scale trains within my loop of Lionel Fastrack. O scale is just getting too expensive for me!

Absolutely. I have had engines uncouple and run away right off the track and on to the floor. It happened to my NS Lionel Lion Chief engine and I had to Gorilla Super Glue a few areas!
