Ugh I hated the zodiac academy so much. I literally could not be bothered to want to continue lol so I understand!

I loved The Deal but never continued the series. Really should give it a re-read. I really need to read The Hero of Ages that's on my to do list I've read book 1 and 2 twice and just never finished the trilogy Good luck with your Tbr

Start with Heartstopper and then read The Deal. I really enjoyed both books.

Have you considered maybe skipping the reread of zodiac academy and looking for a summary online? I do this when I jump back into series and I find they are usually MUCH more detailed than I expect.

I also have some chunky fantasies on my tbr for January *cough cough* A Day of Fallen Night *cough cough*, hope you enjoy your reads this month!

I think you really set yourself up for a good month! You should start with heartstopper so you can get the ball rolling by ticking off a book early.

i love your makeup today!! i too am looking forward to the rebel witch! i also plan to finish the summer i turned pretty series although it's not a favourite series for me but i only have one book left, otherwise i look forward to starting the Shepards king duology and ACOTAR in 2025!

I am a mostly series reader because of what I read so I am in the middle of hundreds so I am trying to get better at working towards catching up or finishing series. I do a quarterly update on my channel where I try and make sure, I am finishing, catching up on or continuing more than I start, it's a problem lol.

I have also started the Mortal Instruments series and have not only not finished the series, I haven't finished the first book yet - I started in 2018 and it's still hanging out on my 'Currently Reading' Shelf.

November was a slack reading month for me. Hoping to really step it up in December to end the year right. I never thought about reading wintery Christmas/holiday themed books in December. Thanks for the idea. Seems obvious lol but I have never done that before

I was so excited when you got Lover Awakened because it's one of my favorite romances! The first two are fine and I think I read book four, but really, just Lover Awakened blew the rest of them away. Lol

Tolkien isn't for everyone, nothing wrong with not enjoying classics. Today's epic fantasy isn't a good litmus test for enjoying classics. A couple modern series that are much more comparable to LOTR are the Drizzt series by R.A. Salvatore and the Mithgar series by Dennis L. McKiernan. I realize you probably don't want comparable for LOTR with the slog, it just felt weird that you kept mentioning ASOIAF as it's really not a good comp for enjoyment.

I love this. You could also do a vlog spinning to read the second, third and fourth book in a series , then a spin for a finale book. You have such great ideas🎉🎉🎉🎉
