1:05:37 oh, you don't even know... there's a puzzle game attached to the tutorial, and People have spent dozens upon dozens of hours trying to solve it, all before ever booting up the main game... also, there have been longer "learning" tutorial runs, by hours. Some People REALLY struggle with it. That's what makes this game so great, though. No one's play-thru is the same, by any stretch.
I've been watching VODs of this game since 0.6, and the download panel tutorial has always been the way it is, as you experienced, and I am begging to think it's to weed out those who just cannot handle it LOL

Watched the whole VOD, very fun to see someone else play this. I'm glad that you were able to have a genuine emotional experience with the game, probably shoulda warned that it would be like that lol. Well, shit, I was gonna comment on the review and say thanks for the recommendation but I guess you got to me first. But yeah, the game definitely got to me a lot more than I was expecting; certain parts hit pretty close to home. It's still stuck in my mind and probably will be for quite a while. And thanks for watching, I really enjoy your videos so it's heartening to know that I was able to provide a little something in return. Also, looking back at the stream, I don't think I ever actually said the name of your channel, which is, uh, perhaps poor form on my part...

There are only, like, 20 videos on youtube about heisei pistol show, so I'm appreciative that you added to that number. It was also interesting to see what parts of the plot you picked up on quicker than I did, you seem very literate about obscure/experimental games. I've been meaning to play anthology of the killer for a while, might pop in next time you stream it :)

Really wish I heard about this game when it came out. Also I like your sense of humor.
I highly suggest that you should give DS2 another chance. I don't know what build you were running, but magic is like powerstancing super cool and i must agree with the rumor that ds2 is the weakest of the three but it is still a wonderful Dark Souls game. Hit up a guide on how to collect the dlc keys and where you can access them. Please try all of them, they are like in the two other games, the best!
It's definitely been a while since I last played but there's just something about the movement and the animations in DS2 that I don't jive with, maybe I'll just commit to it one day and try to get over that. But if you ever see a DS2 playthrough go up on this channel just be prepared for me to complain the whole time.
Ngl i like old games and Fromsoft, but Shadow Tower is way to old for my taste. So many thanks for playing for us
lol it's definitely a little rough around the edges but I'm having a lot of fun regardless, if you go in expecting some jank it's a lot more managable
