Should help her move her left arm forward so she can elevate her face. Mom doesn't seem to understand babies arm is stuck and her face is down in the blanket.very frustrating forbaby.this looks very abusive to me
Babies dont hate tummy time. It's just something that's new to them that they have to get use to just like everything else in their new world. You introduce it slowly for short bursts of timr and when they start getting frustrated, flip them over for a break. After a short break, try again. You also have to understand that it causes them to use muscles they may not normally use and also limits what they're able to see since they have trouble holding their head up. Just holding their head up alone in that position is super tough considering how big and heavy their head is compared to their bodies. I see people in the comments saying they will never do tummy time or that it's cruel. First off, youre being so overly dramatic. There is nothing cruel about tummy time. You could even hear that this baby was not crying a full on cry. They were doing an irritated/frustrated whine. You'll be doing your baby a huge disservice if you never do tummy time as it's vital for their development and strengthens their muscles. Babies cry when you change their diapers much more than this baby did doing tummy time so is that cruel as well? Would you no longer change their diapers also? This mom handled tummy time with this baby perfectly. Once baby became frustrated and started whining she didnt immedately give up but still had her keep trying until it became apparent she definitely had enough and then she flipped her over. The only suggestion I would have made was that it may have helped if she had pulled baby's arm to the front instead of leaving it at her side. She was trying to move her arm to the front herself and I think that definitely increased her frustration. Another thing that can help is to fold a blanket or use a small thinner pillow to place under baby's chest with their arms over top of it to raise the front of their body up some. They still get tummy time but it also raises their head up so they can see more and is easier on their muscles. Obviously never leave baby unattended when they're like this. Lastly, people need to realize that a baby crying is not always a horrible thing. Crying is literally how they talk at this age along with using body language. They cry for so many reasons, not all bad and they have a different sounding cry for man of those reasons. Crying also is not going to hurt a baby.
TT is hard. There are different ways to do it. You can help assist them with gravity and it won’t hinder their progress. Prop them up on a lap and feed pillow or lay them on your stomach and chest so when they lift their head they can see your face. A baby’s favorite thing to look at is someone’s face so seeing a parent’s face will give them the incentive to keep trying to hold their head up. Another way to help a baby is to place your hand on their lower back, gently but firmly, this helps them with the gravity pull since their feet/legs weigh a lot less than their head.
So called tummy time should not be such a big deal. Just put the baby ‘s arm up she doesn’t have the strength to do it herself. Also don’t do it on a soft surface, that puts her face into the soft and she can’t breath. Use the floor or something like that so she doesn’t have to hold her head up so far in order for her to lift her head in order to breath comfortably!!!
It’s funny how the keyboard warriors have to interject on how people parent their kids. She wasn’t torturing the child. She realized she was struggling and turned her over to give her breaks. News flash for the wannabe baby experts, tummy time is needed for babies to develop strength. “The mother should be warned” stfu
Seeing tummy time videos, all parents speak to their babies using the same phrases and same tone of voice. They all sound like they are pacifying their child. Perhaps babies upset is partially at these promptings??? I've only seen one where mom was exclaiming "We are having tummy time now!" with joy and brought out a little cloth book with paper that made noise and a rattle, she got down on her tummy too and she tickled and played with her baby. There were only coos and giggles from that baby, who was very successful at lifting her head and rolling over.
It teaches them early that life is nothing but powerful forces beyond your control, forcing you into cruel and uncomfortable situations from which there is no escape.
They also don't "hate" tummy time. Its just something they have to get use to as it's new to them. There is nothing cruel about doing this as it's very important for their development.
Do you also find it cruel to change a baby's diaper, change their clothes, give them a bath, get them vaccinated, or one of the many other things that make babies cry far worse than this baby's irritated/frustrated whine from tummy time? Many babies feel uncomfortable doing all or some of those things so do you also not believe in doing them? I'm gonna guess the answer is no considering all those things are vital for a baby's health and well being and guess what, tummy time is too. You do realize that a baby crying is not a bad thing and that crying is literally how they communicate at this age. It doesn't always mean there's something horribly wrong. They also have different sounding cries for different needs/wants/feelings. The crying you heard in this video like I already said was her I'm frustrated and annoyed cry. She was letting mom know that she had enough of Timmy time for now and mom responded exactly as she should. She didn't immediately give up trying once baby began to protest and let go for a little longer to see if she would stop. When she didn't, she flipped her. Part of baby's annoyance was that her left arm was back too her side instead of out to the front of her and she had to work hard to move it while also working hard to hold her head up. A baby doing tummy time is no different than an out of shape adult trying to do yoga for the first time. It's hard work, uncomfortable, takes time to get use to but is not cruel. Cruel would be starting your baby's life out at a disadvantage by keeping them from experiencing and doing things are vital for their development. Tummy time is actually their first step in eventually being able to crawl when they're older. There are also ways to make tummy time a little easier for them in the beginning by proposing their chests up slightly using a rolled blanket or small thin pillow. Its placed under their chests with their arms in front of them laying over top of whatever you use. This eases the work their muscles have to do and allows them to be more upright enabling them to see better. You can get them use to this and then slowly introduce normal tummy time.
They hate it even more when they are put down and parents don't make it interesting or give them something to look at except the floor or bed. And no, it's not okay if they are miserable.
Let mama DO IT!!!!!!!!!!
Ma è piccola non c'è la fa'! Poco di mancava che gli mancasse il respiro🥺

Put her arms up under her shoulders please. She cant move them herself.
A cute softie bundle. You can make it if you try.
Do you think they fuss when doing tummy time because it hurts
Awe
What a cutie she is
I don't believe in tummy time because it is so uncomfortable, putting a baby through this is cruel , thats my opinion.

@@Xessa82it’s not ideal for newborns especially if they are sleeping. Why force them to do things if it’s not necessary?

That is a very Pretty BabyGirl,⚘️I love seeing how she's looking around so interested in her surroundings.👶
She didnt turn over!
Как всегда русскоязычные не довольны, они все знают и все умеют нахваливая себя. А если это же, но касается других то все не так и все не то...
