I just realized, the monkey is Todd, in the all in the mind episode it focuses on scratches past, child, and adult. that's the reason it's on the phone and doing business, that's him, wasting his life. It also makes sense why it was guarding the memories, it was literally scratch or Todd, trying to protect himself from the truth. From the past because it hurt him to think back. It's actually quite great lol

For a guy without a soul, Todd sure felt things

My favorite moment is the small bits of emotion we see Todd have. Such as the 'Im Inspired" line and the small smile he had when he was walking to the potlock. He seemed genuinely happy to bring the cups. this series is just so heartwarming

If I had a nickel for every time a Disney show had a major plot twist that fans guessed almost immediately, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

You know a show was good, when you completely miss the guy who blatantly looks like Scratch, goes completely unnoticed until the last episode and then you feel like a complete idiot when it's revealed... goodness I love this show!!!!

Honestly, the two things that put me off are that they fixated on the date of production for the soda, and that Todd's design looks like he should have a deeper voice. So I was assuming that Scrath would be Todd's father, or something. That Scratch was going to have to apply the lessons he learned with Molly, Darryl and their friends and to be a good father and help this random man overcome some latent woe from a negligent, dead father. (This show has such a big focus on Family, after all- surely that's what they were doing, right?) And then I got confused when Adia wasn't Scratch's spouse, and there was no apparent family in the equation. Even in the end, Scratch's voice coming out of that big a man, with no shift in tone or pitch, just feels so damn weird to me. He sounds like his talking voice is so much deeper pre-soul-return, so I don't get why they didn't marry the two. Just a strange character design/directorial choice, IMO. If his design was a bit different, I think it would have made more sense to me.
