    To the guy who commented on the mainspring. I used a mainspring winder because it’s an automatic movement although I don’t have the automatic components. Automatic mainsprings are harder to wind by hand and easily damaged. I think I accidentally deleted your comment. Sorry 😔

    A 231 movement, is definitely, not, a 321

    Why do you think they would use twin mainsprings with an automatic winding movement - was it about having a significant power reserve, or more about needing additional torque to drive a power hungry movement?

    • @TTT61111
      @TTT61111 17 дней назад

      Yes two mainsprings provide more torque with improves amplitude

    That is most definitely a very cool watch . Bet you inspired people to search eBay. Reminds me of Timex watches in construction methods.... well... except for the jewels. Interesting video thank you. Good Fortunes, Great Successes and Many Blessings 🫡🤝

    What would the typical service interval be for a minimal jewel movement like this, compared to a ‘typical’ 15/17 jewel movement?

    Old Omega movements are imo the best quality made money can buy, they jump hoops over a Rolex in quality
