Thanks for the input! We'll keep doing our monthly haul videos as is though, as those are their own category of video. It'd be difficult to adjust our recording workflow to make that work since we have to discuss among ourselves who gets to open what or even if we should bother opening certain things at all. Space is our biggest issue so we would either have a big mess to work around, have to unpack and repack constantly, or limit the scope so that certain items aren't able to be shared at all. We occasionally do release unboxing/reviews of individual figures, but for various reasons, those take a lot more time to make compared to the hauls. Actually, we record unboxing ALMOST all of the merchandise that you see open on these monthly haul videos. We're sitting on hours of recordings, but from our previous analytics, plain unboxing videos don't do that well compared to reviews. I'd really like to release more videos covering individual items, but as mentioned, it's harder to set aside the time I need to finish them off well. -Fuyu

We had some scale Ayakashi Triangle figures on order at some point, but we had to cut them to keep our budget in line. Maybe depending on how things go, we'll get some too. - Fuyu

@@BadAnimeDecisions I just got the email from AmiAmi saying the Bellfine figure has been cancelled, I’m so disappointed as it’s the only figure of her in her Ayakashi costume. Strange to cancel it the month it’s supposed to release.

@@BadAnimeDecisions It’s not the figures I’m worried about, it’s the amount of money I’d spend on the game, I don’t play any gacha games anymore, you can easily spend tens of thousands of dollars on them.

I love her so much! I was drawn to her by her design at first, and she was always an interesting character to have around with the way she talks. Then when I got to the end of volume 3 of the light novels I was like HOLY SHIIIIIIIT and she became my absolute favorite in the cast, she's amazing. - Anya

Yeah, a lot of them are quite expensive. If you like the one from this video though, it looks like AmiAmi is selling it for half off right now. I'm guessing they need to get rid of stock they couldn't sell since the retail price is so high. For about $20, it's still a bit much, but a lot better that full price. With that said, it looks like there's a variety of prize figures for sale. We don't have any ourselves, but some of them look pretty decent, without being too expensive. I feel like they're at least a better value than this figure. -Fuyu

I don't watch Vtubers nearly as much as I used to so I kinda get what you mean. Still gotta rep your favs though lol. I can definitely say Marine and the Aquairo Super Dream Aqua figures look great together. Marine is kinda big though so we keep the mother-daughter pair on separate shelves currently though. It looks like this Marine will be tough to come by, but Max Factory is releasing a different scale figure of her in the future so maybe that's an option? -Fuyu

Thanks so much! It's hard to tell how entertaining we are so we really appreciate your feedback! We've also thought about doing compendium style videos for some of our Pop Up Parades like doing the Hololives by generation for example. For stuff like Nendoroids and Figmas with a lot of accessories though, I think those would require their own dedicated videos. We also thought about editing down all of the unboxing videos we've recorded and just posting those instead of full reviews, but people don't seem to watch those as much. We could be wrong though and maybe it would be worth mixing and matching different types of content? As for shorts, I watch them on occasion, but overall they're not really my style so I'm not too confident that I could make good ones honestly. I actually prefer longer videos too and I'm guessing that probably effects how I make videos. Despite what it may seem like, I actually don't like spending too much money either. With that said, I'm a lot more lax if I can justify a purchase by being able to use it to make something. The proxy/second-hand/deals idea could be an interesting way to save money. We have preorders that go into 2025 already though, so it depends on how well we can keep our spending in check and other circumstances. I do love your idea about talking about stuff that's special to us. There's definitely a lot we could talk about since we have been watching anime and collecting junk for so long. I don't think we've thought about making videos related to how to decorate since our style is chaos core right now lol. It ends up just me playing Tetris and trying to get everything to fit, but I guess that could be an interesting topic in of itself? I'm currently working on a video for a new display cabinet we got recently so that should be coming out soon (hopefully). Anyway, thank you so much for taking the time to let us know what you think! @@BadAnimeDecisions just wanted to reply to a bit, tho i did read everything you replied above dw! i really love the unboxing vids (esp the fact it's usually a surprise for you guys too lol), so i defiantly would like to see the unboxings still being filmed and posted in some capacity. and reviews aren't my go-to, as sometimes i don't even care too much to see opinions on certain figures. but it could be neat to do unboxing + reviews for the items in the same video? or maybe unboxings in one video, then a large review of those unboxed goods in the next video? you could catch more attention that way, as there may be one or two items someone tunes in to see your opinion on and thank you for taking the time to answer with your guys' perspective !

Yeah, I'm not sure if there is anything similar that's big enough to fill a Detolf by itself. They're too small for scale figures unless they're sitting or something.

Spoiler alert, we did manage to order the Suzu Nendoroid so she should be in the next haul. I don't think we have those other figures on order, but I remember them looking pretty nice.

Yeah, she's a great figure. Honestly I think Ryza is my favorite thing from December's haul. We're planning to do a review of her in the next few weeks so look forward to it!

We actually made a video of the Dioramansions last month which you can check out if you want the full details. Near the end of the video you can see what one looks like inside a Detolf. You can't put two 200 size ones side by side in a Detolf, but I think it can look good with the right setup in and around it. It's so neat we had to get it even though we haven't watched Aquatope yet. We don't have anything in the $1000 price range, but we do have some figures from Prime 1 on order

I honestly was surprised by the number too, but I guess it makes sense since we get a handful each month. It really adds up quickly!

Originally I wanted to put in more stats, but I was worried that people would find it boring. I think next year though, I'll go all in with the nerdy numbers! I think I come off pretty deranged/haphazard in videos, but behind the scenes I'm always keeping track of all the details in my giant spreadsheets. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to pay for our own survival lol (Anya to Fuyu: YOU'RE DERANGED IRL TOO)

@BadAnimeDecisions with such spending habits and being an adult it's definitely helpful to keep track of things! I didn't mind the stats and wasn't overwhelmed by them this time! And I feel like the most fun collectors/collector videos are done by those who are slightly more deranged/degenerate.. this way I can relate a bit more 🤣

I think we thought the same before. Bofuri is pretty goofy and chill and will make you question what a shield actually is. There's 2 seasons of the anime and it's based on a light novel if you're curious

Anya really loves Ascendance of a Bookworm. It's one of her favorite light novels and anime series. It's getting a third season in the future in case you're interested in checking it out!
