Reupload 🤔, or am I crazy?
Yes
if only someone told hitler this 😔
is the presenters voice speeded up on this video? Difficult to follow.
wow great video
What is “craft art?”
You are so wise Olya!
Oh my gosh reference to the why? So important, so so important. I still hav'nt worked it out beyond "expression is the opposite of depression".
Agreed! its so important! Keep at it and you will get there! :)
James is a great artist and very generous with his knowledge, I've learned so much from his RUclips channel.
Great advice, thank you 🙏🏽🪴
So sweet ❤ lovely lovely couple
Hmmmm. Idk jenny savile, nicolas uribe, seem to be doing well. People are awkward in general, that's the draw. Ron hicks/ egon schiele perfect examples. Embrace the uniqueness of human experience. A tree look like a tree in any country. BTW susan is a fantastic painter even though I disagree.
Thanks for sharing this ^.^
Our pleasure! Thank you for Tuning in!
Oh my goodness, my first drawings when I started college were so bad, it was embarrassing. I was appalled at my lack of skill when compared to other students. That gave me incentive to work harder.
It is almost like a right of passage, to make good art we must make some not so great art, and that is all part of the journey! :)
Oh yay, let’s figure out how to pay artist even less than they already make. Great idea! Keep promoting this for sure!
Not at all, the idea is that new tools will open up the option of hiring someone to help you or tools that will allow you to do it yourself without spending much time. "Delegate to Elevate".
I relate to that struggle of wanting to paint people you know and can talk to. I don't like painting a stranger from a photo because I feel like I'm painting an object, not a person.
This was a wonderful and fun talk 😁
Signed up for your newsletter. So you sell/price your works framed? I'm an artist and learning best practices
Thank you. You got great support in your husband.❤️
I needed to hear this one today!! Every word was Right on target for me. Thank you Kathie and Bold brush!
We all needed to hear this! Kathie is such an inspiration!
One of my favourite episodes ❤
It was ours as well! So inspiring!
I dont want to understand the art market
It can be a lot!
So I love this podcast! Wondering what made you go to Romania for painting classes?
Thank you Silvia! That is a great question for the artist - in most cases, one of the reasons that Artist travel for educational purposes is, it provides them a sense of new inspiration. I wonder if that was the reason?
@@boldbrushart I’m from Romania living in USA . We love arts and there is a mysterious approach that anyone should try to discover
Thanks I'm a bit more Pepped up now. 😎😎
We are glad this was of encouragement for you!
A fellow Illinoisan, I love her work!!!
Yes, I totally agree! 🤓👍
Amazing interview! Very informative and exciting to see similarities of my journey as an artist.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed it and found inspiration and connected with his story!
In this otherwise very fine interview the sound cuts out in the last 10 minutes, so if you can fix that I am sure everyone would appreciate it.
Thank you for letting us know and a heads up! We will look into it!:)
Really enjoyed this. Pavel is very thoughtful and articulate and I love his paced, careful delivery.
Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed it!
Mark's online workshop is highly recommended for painters at any level!
really great conversation,
Good talk!
Cope. Tell that to all the artist in hollywood writers rooms. Lol.
Those are workers for hire. I didn't say AI wouldn't disrupt industries. It clearly will. I'm talking about individual artists creating art for art's sake. I don't think an AI will (at least not anytime soon) create music say, like taylor swift, and then go on tour and fill stadiums of people watching the AI perform that music. Certainly not without human involvement, in which case, those humans would be the artist (or at least co-creators). Art is a connection between humans. But hey, it's just my opinion, I've been wrong before and certainly might be again. May your life be filled with peace, love, creativity and joy.
I've been a professional guitarist for 37 years, and I'm looking forward to the music that AI produces. Humans are so conceited, to think that nothing could ever be smarter or entirely better than us, and that our view is more important than anything else that could exist in the universe. In the next few years, we're going to come face-to-face with how untrue that is.
We will certainly see. When an AI creates a human, I'll concede that it has surpassed us. And when people flock to fill a venue to watch a player piano instead of a piano player, I'll concede that AI is indeed making art. Of course those two milestones have to be achieved with no human involve in directing the AI. Perhaps AI will surpass us at some point, but my point doesn't come from conceit that nothing could ever be better than us, it comes from the observation that art stems from a connection between two human beings. What I envision is art being taken to entirely new levels by humans working with AI as a sort of new medium. May your life be filled with peace, love, creativity and joy.
The interview was fantastic! I had a great time diving into all the insightful topics discussed.
Thank you!!

Carolyn Anderson is so good to learn from :)
agreed! She is truly an inspiration and her insights are often mind-blowing!
I liked the video
Thank you so much for tuning in and your feedback! :)

If you use AI, It can use you. Can you block the electronic entry into your files? Will you be sharing your images, or parts of them, with total strangers without your knowledge or consent?
We love your voice Gladys; you are awesome ❤
Agreed, she is a joy to listen to!
As a traditional artist, I found it a bit difficult to accept AI art; however, after learning much more about it, I have since found a new respect for it. Art enthusiasts and collectors can definitely tell the difference in translation from concept to final image/s. There is an innate sense of knowing, and the ability to differentiate between armature & seasoned artists. For professional artists slowly navigation the AI world, it requires a big learning curve to complete the intended results, but it is doable with an open mind. Whether we like it or not, art is heading in a new direction and I believe it's beneficial for traditional artists to be a part of this dynamic process. It doesn't mean we have to drop our canvas and brushes, it simply means we should be open to progress and technology. The fact that there are a lot of art collectors buying with cryptocurrency and purchasing digital art is noteworthy.
So real… finally someone speaking honestly instead of hype. I find this info very useful.
Kathie is such a sweet spirit ! and what a wonderful soul mate she has by her side🥰
That’s exactly how I feel every time I open my mouth!!!❤
Very true!
This is what the beauty of diversity looks like to me ☺️
A depiction of God's creation could never be an abomination
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your very existence and inspiration! You are appreciated!
