Why is our natural state to be sinful?
Because of fall in Genesis 3. Sin entered the world so almost like a “genetic disorder” we are all born sinners. This is why Jeremiah speaks about our hearts being desperately wicked and deceitful above all else. I always use toddlers as the example… who teaches them to “choose violence” 🤣, no one. No one teaches them to lie but they do. It’s part of the natural condition that we have but the power of God and Holy Spirit is supernatural which is why we need the Lord. This is why we become a new creature and our flesh (natural tendencies) must be crucified. Thank you for this question!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I think a part 2 is necessary for people in emotional and domestic violence situations. Sometimes it is ok to set barriers with unequally yoked engagements. That process can feel isolating, uncomfortable before it gets better.
@@mw7882 such a good point and I agree! I’ll definitely spend the block on this. The part II about setting boundaries like Christ is more for total life boundaries but I definitely think it’s worth the conversation of boundaries and reconciliation in these tough and unique situations. Omg I love the way you explained this I’m literally in tears it’s been me all this time 😢 lord forgive me 😢I’m 36 years old and have been creating barriers all my life thinking I was creating boundaries I’m mad at the world always stressed and now my 18 year old daughter has created a barrier with me and I just learned so much. Don’t even know where to start this is like learning life all over again. I feel so bad
