The Garden. Tribute to Neil Peart
Просмотров 57Год назад
I met Rush in 2002, back stage at the Gorge, which was the best day of my life. I'm a "bit" of a fan. Neil's passing hit me very hard, and I feel The Garden was such a fitting song to end their career with. Not only being the last song on Clockwork Angels, to me it summarized their legacy. I played this a little fast paced...hey my clock was off.

Audio of what is thought to be several Sasquatch. Recorded in Oregon while on a hike by a close friend. Thoughts? Ideas? No one has been able to identify it. Please comment below what you think. Apologies for the F-bomb. Thank you

    Who cares? Your truck looks retarded with it that high in the front.. not you have to get spacers for under the rear bags or the new links to trick the truck into adding air in rear. Why anyone would want to take a truck and out a shitty spacer in rev front instead of new coils that are made to lift and ride better blows my mind. You spend $50-$100k on these trucks and buy $100 spacers lol.. spend the $300 for springs and do it the right way. The air trucks are almost level stock. They are only 1” higher in rear. So now your 1-1.5” high in the front

    Hey which rear coils should I use for 6" lift? I'm removing mine air suspension ? And my question is coils better drives the air suspension?

      If you have factory air suspension, you'll get constant ses lights to service it. If you can handle that, then kudos to you. For springs, Carli makes one of the best products for upgrades. Everything is designed individually for the make and model, so you get a great ride while keeping the payload capacity stock. I prefer the air suspension because it keeps the truck level at all times, especially when hauling my 35-foot RV.

      @dzaino1986 i started having some issues on mine 2016 ram 2500. Air suspension . I just don't know what can cause 😕 fuse and Raley good. Air compressor is working when I connect 12v. No air leaks. Airbags is full air but air tank is empty air and cannot lowered my air suspension and I have warning says IMMEDIATE AIR SUSPENSION SERVICE/REPAIR REQUIRED and When I push button and I got SELECTED RIDE Height NOT PERMITTED!. so what's can be? My alfa OBDLink gives me 3 codes C156E, C1556 and C2212

      @@ag8499 First let me say that I'm a 35 year certified mechanic and the information I'm providing here is from my online service manual references. Hopefully this helps...Code C156E is related to air suspension sensors not properly calibrated to the air suspension control module. If you've replaced any sensors, you'll need to have the dealer re-program them. There are 3 different C1556 codes, so I"m not sure which one you might be seeing..They all refer to the air pressure sensor. It might be a good place to start since your air tank will not fill up. C2212 code is "in-plant mode" This refers to the air suspension control module going into a service mode when a technician works on the air suspension. The "in plant mode" prevents the air suspension from adjusting any ride height while the technician is working on the system.. say to change a height sensor or airbag. Most of the fault codes will point to the air suspension module being the culprit. My suggestion would be to have a dealer spend an hour to diagnose the issue. If the fault is anything other than the module, you could replace the components yourself. One last thing to try before taking it to the dealer, remove both negative battery cables (I'm assuming your truck is a Cummins) for at least 30 minutes. re-connect them and see if the codes clear. If they aren't a "hard" code, it's possible they will clear and the issue may be resolved. Hope this helps!!

    Hey, good afternoon! my question is some people say we got to drill on one side! Can you answer this please?

      If I recall, i think i put a couple extra 3/8 bolts to secure the adapter better. Probably two extra holes in the upper spring perch per side. Just my belt and suspenders mentality. Its been trouble free since day 1.

    First, beautiful truck! Secondly, as a retired tech I appreciate your insight. Seems like majority of videos are people throwing the parts in. Bowed springs are not good. The castor adjustment correction is an excellent tip. Having to replace the track bar has been highly questionable for me. If the stock bar is that close to the limit the truck would be a handful as oe. Thanks for proving with math.

    On your ram does it sit level with the level kit or does it sit nose high

      @justinkleven3516 after the 2.5 lift the truck sat perfectly level measuring at the wheel openings. For funsies, I swapped out the factory rear leveling links with ones an inch longer to raise the rear airbags. Now i have a slight rake which suits my preference. Hope this helps!

    Nice setup! Do you have a 7ft garage door? I want to do that setup with the exact tires and 2.5” leveling kit on stock 20” wheels but I’m afraid it won’t fit in my garage.

    Are you having any vibration issues coming from Rear end that you feel in the seat.

    • @dzaino1986
      @dzaino1986 2 года назад

      Negative Jim. All is good. I recently added longer links for my factory air suspension to raise the rear end up another 1.5” and it looks even better. The only thing I would suggest on a leveling kit it to make sure the caster is checked afterwards. You need to roll the front differential rearward to keep the spring sitting flat on the lower mount. This affects caster, although I did not adjust mine. Still tracks straight and no adverse affect on steering self-correction.
