don't forget the environment you will capture unwanted noise
How do you flip it
depends what daw you're using
Mic and usb interact could be swapped for a cheaper condenser mic for $40 bucks with a Beringher Mic + $60 Beringher Midas USB interface

don’t do this if your starting please 🙏
And a computer
On standby. Thank you for this series!
Thanks for watching! New video every Friday until about March 👍
I love the Presonus 24c. You get metered levels rather than one light, two XLR/TRS inputs and an option for MIDI controllers if you so choose.
i use a 2 dollar microphone
Can I hook my guitar up to this?,
what a legend
Good information.
midi keyboard left the chat
The newest model of the NT1 is sublime and much cheaper than the NT1A. Frequency response is flatter and the noise floor is much lower.
Shure sm58-lc
rofl XD
And you need a computer lol
Lol people often make fun of people using garageband , but they have never used it before
Wil try it
Tankyou 😢😢😢
Pretty sick guide! Nice
How about the software or what ever you call the program you’re going to run to make music for instance pro tools or FL STUDIO and a computer
Now i know, thank you so much 😊
this + mac mini and logic
i like the kick boosted at 50! but thats just my taste! lol Good tips
funny video
$300 plus $700-$1000 for the computer
Don’t forget a $250 DAW 😂
Thanks finna add all this to my birthday list
If you're on even more of a budget, check out Alice OPA mics. Sound Sleuth has a fantastic tutorial on how to build your own, cheaper than either the NT-1A or AT2020 and just as good, if not better sounding.
If you only use one microphone, the middle of the kick drum is rather unsuitable because, as mentioned, there are neither extreme lows nor highs, which defeats the purpose of a kick drum. Ideally, it would be aligned on the drum head from the outside or inside with a 1cm distance, at the opening to the beater or on the inside of the beater, but here too not in the middle but slightly towards the edge. That's not meant to defeat the purpose of this video, but it's meant to give suggestions on how you could do it.✌️
Can you recommend any computers?
Yes and a computer
hi
G F# Eb A G# E G# C. Nice
Bro , really
Yea but what computer is good for a home studio?
Any laptop that can run ANY next gen game, can basically run most DAWs to the extent that a beginner musician will be using them. If not far beyond, you might notice some performance loss or lag if you are like trying to use 30 tracks, but it should still work just fine. The go to standard for music production is a Macbook, tho personally I'm not a fan of apple product environments, and Macs are a decent bit expensive. HP Pavillion series, Lenovo Thinkpad series, Dell XPS 15, etc are all great budget friendly laptops for music production and other medium heavy duty creative use.
What about a midi controller for drums, and a drum pack to control? This would apply to anyone. Not just metal Legit asking. Not being rude. Thanks!
I love this video
What about a daw?
And you can easily pirate FL Studio from GetIntoPC
i think it's time we stop recommending new people the scarlett's they have terrible driver support and the volt 1 is $140
Spark Sl best mic under 220$ and its been half off for a while now (i know my talk)
Honestly tho if you can spend the money just start with an Apollo.
Sir, I am very tired of asking everyone. But I did not get the right advice from anyone. Some say to buy a dynamic mic, some say to buy a condenser mic. I want to record my poetry professionally at home. Please tell me a good mic and audio interface which gives me professional sound quality within my budget. My room is not Sound proof, My total budget is 350 dollars for audio interface, mic and headphones. But sir I want the Same sound quality which is in this video 👇🏿 ruclips.net/user/shorts0MytL7WNsBg?si=n2rVzX24BK0bI5F-
I'm going to do some adjusting for a better sound at a better deal, instead of the AT2020 get a SM58 and use a Behringer UM2, should get you a microphone and an interface under $150 (under $100 used). Then you will have some more cash left over for a much better pair of headphones (do your own research, different genres call for different headphones in my personal opinion.)
started out with a at2020, and scarlett 2i2, currently rocking a sm7b with a antelope zen go, great setup
No no no on those Sennheiser HD206, save a little more and get the HD280.
I think I spent around 200$ for my current set up, which also includes a NT1-A. A good place to look for stuff is Ebay or Craigslist or any pages like that
