when you mentioned the adjustable steering arm do you have to shorten it after you bag it ? to stop from getting bump steer?

Hey hows it going... lil late in the game here, but great, great, GREAT vid, thanks a lot... I'm doing the same thing on my 54, just finished upping the a arms and fitting the upper brackets.. I'm about to do the clip reinforcements next. Just have a quick question.... since the A arms are already upped, do I still need the dropped knuckles/uprights? I was wondering if I kept the stock uprights and get one of those steering arms from fatman I'd get alignment (?) or do I need the whole thing (dropped uprights and steering arms) ? I'd weld in nuts, nutserts at least in my experience can and will spin and be a pita. Hopefully i dont spend the rest of my life at this hosp and i can come see the progress and lend a hand! Edit: then i get to the part where you weld in nuts 😂

Are you still doing work in your shop?? You could make some money selling a dropped upright / support and stepped lower arms. Maybe even offer a core trade out so you keep stock.

that lite bar would look great as the center section for the rear bumper with exhaust exits where the lites are..

I like the fender treatment the Sentinels did on their gold 50 coupe that has now sold on. Rears are 57 Chev and fronts were lipped from a different car... So yea, different can absolutely be cool

I like this and will have to look again when I do mine. I have a mustang tank to put in first and some love marks in the fender to fix too.

Probably not relevent 3 years on, but I thought a small piano hinge on the bottom of the flap and a spring loaded finger pin to hold it in the top. Pull the pin and it opens down... just my thought on an already good design.

Is there any way you could tell me the correct measurements from the front of front cab mount to front of the frame. I'm trying to build a 59 apache and someone put a nova front cap on it and they cut the frame all messed up.

Great video, definitely gonna help when I bag my 50 Chevy. I'm probably not going to step my lower control arm tho, mainly because I don't want my car laying frame just in case I ever blow a bag and still need to drive her home lol

Great video! I have a 54 hardtop. I am looking to do this in the future. I have an extra front end and the guy I got it from said the uprights are the lowered ones. Am I correct that if I build the extra front end out of the car, I can unbolt the OG and bolt in the modded one? Thanks
