Don’t pull the pipe through with the torpedo like you did. Run the torpedo through to your bell hole and then hook the waterline to the valve end of the hose and pull the hose outside with the waterline. I’ve made up several different pull rings with spare hose end quick couplings. This also prevents the end of the hose from damaging the new copper when pulling it past.

AAAAAAHHHHHHH...REALLY! Just wondering HOW........ANY water is supposed to get into the crock. A crock with no side holes or ANY DRAIN TILE put into the crock basin. I like your ambition. You can still cut a slot wider than your drain tile. Cover that with STONE just below your slab and fill the rest with concrete...............From a guy with 37 years in the construction trade.
