The 2 Oldies stations I grew up with Oldies 103.3 WODS Boston and 101.5 B-101 WWBB Providence used the Do It Again Jam Jingles. WODS from 1997-2001 and WWBB from 1994-2000. The jingles were slighty different. 0:02: I don't think Oldies 103.3 WODS ever had that top of the hour jingle but maybe B-101 WWBB had it. 0:16: Great Oldies all the time, Oldies 103.3 0:24: Oldies, 103.3, 103.3 0:31: More great Oldies, Oldies 103.3 0:39: Great Oldies you sing along to, Oldies 103.3 0:50: We play more great Oldies, Oldies 103.3 1:02: Don't know if either WODS or B-101 used this jingle 1:13: Great Oldies, on the Best Station, 103.3, Oldies 103.3, along with "It's a Great Morning, with (whoever did the morning show), 103.3, Oldies 103.3." B-101 said "The Best Oldies, on the Best Station, B-101, B-101". "It's a Great Morning with (whoever did the morning show), B-101, B-101" 1:27: Don't know if 103.3 used this but B-101 used it saying "Southern New England's Oldies station, B-101" and also used it for another one of their specialty shows 1:40: Great Oldies All The Time, Oldies 103.3 while B-101 said the same thing as WCBS. 1:51: Great Oldies All Weekend Long, Oldies 103.3 B-101 I'm sure used it for the same thing. Sometimes 103.3 after they finished the forecast would switch to the jingle listed at 2:21 3:10: Each station used this for different reasons
Zre there more instrumental versions of these iingles? I'm trying to use them for an upcoming project, --- a podcast with X-mas music with these curs sans vocald.
My local oldies station used jingles like this until some time in my early teens, then they switched formats about two years ago. I was born in the 90s, and I sometimes wish I could go back there or to the very early 2000s and just freeze time before 9/11.
