WHY? I went there once the weekend before the main rally. Most of the locals had rented out their houses for insane amounts. Only local business owners stayed. The Harley shop rented a couple of homes to house the mechanics they bring in for the event. Seems like she is just rubbing shoulders with folks that come from outside the State.

She's not that great. She cares more about herself than the residents. She votes against a lot of things that would benefit the people. She was against medicaid expansion but the people voted it in. She wants to dictate what is taught in schools instead of the parents. She is only okay with the things she's in favor of. Not what the people vote for. She was against doing away with the food tax until she used it as a campaign add. She only won the previous election 51% to 49% and South Dakota is a 90% red state. So that should tell you that not everyone here likes her. She's just a Trumptard with tits. She is more about Washington D.C. than South Dakota.

Always good for a photo op. Watched the interview with my Dad who lives in Sturgis. He just had a chuckle. She had a lot of facts wrong. Many West river people won't have much to do with her. I am neutral on the subject as I don't live in SD anymore (grew up in Sturgis). She definitely puts on a good face for the state, but isn't necessarily popular in certain areas.
