Caverns is sweet man. I feel like it’s a lot of pedal for the money. But if I were you, I’d look for something with tap tempo and presets. There are a lot of sweet options. But the caverns is really an excellent pedal.

@@ethanweaverlee to be honest bro, I got saved 4 years ago and God has led me into the role of leading worship, I don't know how that happened to be honest lol. I love Phil wickhams music, he is definitely anointed, but I also love Shane and Shane, the worship initiative. Their music is congregational, Hymnary and contemporary. Which is what we are at our church. There is only me at the moment, with 20 members of the church congregation. I bought a Fender marine Layer Reverb pedal, it's sounds great! I don't know what your views are on it. At the minute I am seated, with a semi acoustic guitar into a Laney Hub AH500D System, a stomp box under right foot, and tambourine under the left foot and singing for the worship. And now the Fender Marine Layer pedal. Do you believe a reverb pedal requires a delay pedal also (delay + reverb system/s). You are obviously musically orientated, music theory etc. I am just getting started, and try be led by The Holy Spirit. God bless, look forward to hearing from you 👑

@@crackedblackpepperandrocksalt love all that man. Happy for you. Nah, i definitely don't think delay is required with reverb. My rule of thumb is that if it sounds good to you, run with it. There are no rules. So many people have so many preferences. Don't let anyone tell you that anything is required. definitely be open to the idea of different things. I assure you if you open up the can of worms where you take everyone's "opinions" you'll never be happy. Keep pushing for the best sound, but whatever sounds good to you is the best sound. Play with confidence and the rest will fall into place.

Have you ever heard of Earthquaker Devices - Avalanche Run? I think it is amazing pedal, I haven't tried it,but listened to alot of videos on RUclips. That's the type of sound I want. I'd love to mimic it, or just go ahead and buy it. They are around £300. What do you think of these pedals bro for delay? I’d love to see a video on how you approach rhythm guitar patterns. Especially how to approach a situation when assigned to rhythm guitar on a song that doesn’t seem to have any guitar at all. I think that would help many church guitarists.

they don't exist. the whole reason for this effect heavy style is to cover up the fact that they stink. churches are cheap, they don't like to pay musicians. pro musicians want to get paid. churches are left with bedroom players who play for free but can't play worth shit.

Very sorry for the late response! For the sake of this video i felt like this pedal was cool and did the job well. I have had the DD200 and it's an amazing unit!

@@ethanweaverlee I actually just picked up a DD200 and am falling in love with it. Obviously still learning it though.

I have dd20 it it has very interesting modes like modulate and sos for looping. I wanted timeline but Im saving for Gfi synesthesia now. Great playing!

Hey Jay! Sorry for the late response! I think if you were to add those subdivisions, then yes, you are correct. but getting two delays hitting at once is the goal and creates the rhythmic feel! you should try it out if you can!
